Course Curriculum Overview

BE Computer Science and Engineering at SCAD has a very good structure and focuses on a lot of practical work. The course follows a semester pattern. The days at the college are generally very hectic and exams too are very tiring.

Placement Experience

There is the department of placement. SCAD provides with great opportunities to its students. There are internships for the students to grow. They also provide with jobs and placements. Many firms like wipro,HCL, Tech Mahindra etc come and recruit the students. Many students take part in the placement programme.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of SCAD for civil engineering is around 1 lakh 70 thousand which is quite feasible as per the needs and demand of the course in the growing industry. Hence, it will not be wrong to say that the fees is affordable as per the education and facilities provided by the institution.

Campus Life

SCAD is very good in its extracurricular activities. They enrich their students and focuses on overall development of the students. They have various sports activities like football, basketball and so on. They also organize cultural functions like fest and fêtes in which many other institutions take part and students get abundant exposure.

Admission

SCAD has The Department of Computer Science and Engineering with the mission to instill outstanding technical skills in students and prepare them into future ready Computer Science engineers. To get admission the student should have passed class 12 with PCM with 50 % marks. Then the student will have to give the entrance exam and on the basis of merit, you will be selected.

The department has well experienced faculty, who teach how to think and apply engineering principles to everyday engineering challenges. As a reflection of this vision of the department, six faculty members are engaged in research and development in key areas of Computer Science & Engineering. They also encourage students in every possible way. There are also Guest lectures by eminent professors and professionals from renowned industries.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
