Entrance Preview

Had taken the MH CET at the time had scored a 90/200 and got into the college as it had a christian quota and is rated as the top 5 mumbai university colleges . Also one of the reason to join was the christian crowd which are well spoken and friendly and also the location is very accesible from station and also the standards of teaching were good .

Internships Opportunities

The college doesnt provide for internships due to the structure of the mumbai university syllabus which doesnt allow for long internships.

Placement Experience

Placements are close to 95 % and avg package of 3.2 lakhs and highest of about 8 lpa .350 were placed last year and companies that visited were Tcs , CApgemini , LnT , Tech mahindra , IGATE , mane more .

College Events

4.5

We got two main festivals Mosic a one day college event not that big but intresting ( about 500 attending it )2nd we got IRIS which is a 4 day event and is pretty huge ( about 2000 attending it ).

Campus Life

3.5

The gender ratio will be a 1:3 the campus life is good with a mix of crowds and theres always something to do in terms of extracuriculars with many clubs and sporting events conducted all the time and we got a robotics team that participates in all the events.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumini network is strong and very helpful with any queries u have they are just a call away and are always ready to help .i needed some info on how to conduct certain events for which our seniors were more than ready to help for no benrfit on thier side whatsoever.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.
