Course Curriculum Overview
MBBS is 4 and half years course with one year compulsory internship. We have more theoretical subjects with practicals. Course curriculum is well managed, we have exams annually, theory as well as practicals. We have good labs, and our practical sessions are very fruitful. The course structure is very important and is step to the career ahead and needs much attention and hard work.
Placement Experience
Since this is government college and has very good education for MBBS, there is much scope of it. Many goes for higher education, are placed in government hospitals and scope of opening a clinic is also there. We have one year compulsory internship provided by college. There is also a bond signed for compulsory 3 year service in State of karnataka.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure of this college for UG student is around 109500. The tuition fees of the course is 1 lakh yearly, registration fees annually 9,350, another fee of 500. Fee for examination, hostel is charge extra has facilities taken. We have to pay 105000 during time of admission.
Fees and Financial Aid
Student will have to register for scholarship during the start of the academic year. There is various types of scholarship provided to students based on merit, weaker sections, st/sc, single girl graduation, etc given by central and state government. University merit scholarship for merit toppers is given.
Campus Life
Our college hosts number of seminars, debates and events at regular intervals, but there is very less cultural activities and functions. Our course is more education oriented and has less extra-curricular activities. We have sports facilities available in our college. Labs are very good and well equipped with modern equipments.
Hostel Facilities
Our college provides hostel facilities to both boys and girls. Separate hostel for boys and girls is available. Hostel is well equipped with necessary equipments and is well built. Hostel is on sharing basis. Hostel fee for one year 1800, mess charge is 5000.
Admission
I am doing my MBBS from this college. I got admission based on my score in the NEET entrance examination. admission is given to students only through entrance examination. After writing Neet exam I applied for this college under counseling held by them. Since I had good score I got this college in my first round of counselling. Candidate must atleast have completed 17 years of age which physics chemistry mathematics and biology with 50% in 10+2.
Faculty
Our college provides good ratio of well trained and highly educated faculty. Who are equipped with all the modern technology. Our college also has sufficient numbers of non-technical staffs which provide an ambience of self-learning to us. Faculties are much talented and well qualified to teach the course. They are always available to solve our queries and problems.
