Mechanical engineering at this institution follows semester system and has a duration of 4 years. There course structure is very good and focuses on a lot of research and practicals. The days are generally very hectic and exams too are very tiring.

The college has a Placement department. The Placement Dept. sends invitations to companies / organizations along with relevant information to conduct campus interviews for their requirements.The institute also gives equal importance to extracurricular activities with a focus on the overall development of its students to equip them to face the challenges of the highly competitive corporate world.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college for mechanical engineering is around 1 lakh 50 thousand which is quiet feasible as per the needs and demand of the course in the growing industry. Hence, it will not be wrong to say that the fees is affordable as per the education and facilities provided by the institution.

Campus Life

The college excels in its extracurricular activities. They enrich their students and focuses on overall development of the students. They have various sports activities like football, basketball . They also organize cultural functions like fest and fate in which many other institutions take part and students get abundant exposure.

Sri Subramanya college of Engineering & Technology (SSCET) affiliated to Anna University is a renowned educational institute at Palani, the Temple Hill City in Tamilnadu. To get admission, the student should fill the form with the required documents and should give the entrance exam and based on their merit in the exam they will be called for the admission.

The faculty of the institution is very good. They are well qualified and trained with a great experience. They have good command over their respective subjects. They also encourage students in every possible way and help them when they need.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Good thinker in the IT

There are 6 course in our college where it's civil engineering, ECE, computer science engineering, Electronic and electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering, Information technology. And they application form in the college office are anna university counseling structure. It may have reservations benefits to the cast wise. Not exactly where you would want to spend 4 years of your life!

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance. Was referred to the college by a friend.I was interested in Electrical engineering, but this college was not the exactly the kind of place that teaches you anything.
