Course Curriculum Overview
University has a dedicated department for MBA with wide range of variety including dual specialization, logistics and supply chain management, financial markets and banking, and construction management. The course is designed to follow a 6 trimester system which allows the incilcattion of various subjects.Exam structure is inspired by the trimester system where each trimester has a mid term exam and an end term exam. Along with that, assignmets are also the part of curriculum.
Placement Experience
University has an excellent placement record. 93% of its students were placed in 2019 with the highest package of 32 lacs (for engineering). MBA department does not lag behind. It has a very good placement record with the highest package of 12 lacs and average package of 4-5 lacs.Various organisations, like The Outlook, visit the college with internship offers as well.
College Events
The University organises many festivals like Nexus (Technical Fest), Agrata (Management Fest), Maitri (sports fest). All of these events are organised on large scale considering every department participate in them. Agrata - the management fest also takes the participation from othee institutions and schools. Apart from these three, every department organizez its own small scale fest to keep the students enthusiastic throughout the curriculum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Considering the value of the course, the university offers MBA program with the most reasonable fee structure. Fee structure of MBA dual specialization is ? 1,56,000, ? 6000 examination fee, ?1000 alumni fee, for 1st year and ?1,53,000 for 2nd year. Hostel and mess fee are not included in this.
Campus Life
For extracurricular activities, university has different clubs like ninad (music club), natraj (dance calub), drishti (photography club), literio (literature club), saturangle (debate club), fine arts club, Nature club and many others. They organise various events throughout the curriculum.
Hostel Facilities
University has dedicated hostel blocks and wings for students. Rooms are not very big, neither too small. There are double, triple, and single occupancy rooms available for students. However, for post graduate students only single occupancy rooms are available.
Admission
Aftet completing my B.Sc in Biotechnology, I had the option to go for M.Sc. However, my inclination towards management led me to opt for MBA.I did an extreme research about the course and the university through various sources including online portals, friends and students. I applied for the GLAET at the Jhansi office and after clearing the test I submitted my documents and the course fee along with the hostel fee.
Faculty
In my opinion, MBA department has the most qualified and helpful faculties in the University. Majority of them are Phd holders in their area of expertise. All have the adequate experience of teaching management students. They are always up for the help. I'll not take the name, but there are some teachers in the department who aren't trustworthy.
