Remarks
The area of the college is too small. So some classrooms are very small. But there are many windows in the classrooms. The benches in the classrooms are made of wood and steel rods. There is one big blackboard in every class.
Course Curriculum Overview
This college is under one of the best University, the Calcutta University. So the course structure is very good. This college is a government college. So the fees structure is less than any private college.
Placement Experience
This college is mainly degree college. So there is not any placement opportunity. They don't also provide any intership. But they have scholarship facilities. They prepare students for the higher studies.
College Events
The student union along with the college cultural authority arrange freshers every year for 1st year college students. They also arrange fest every year for every students. As I am a student of Zoology, the Zoology department arranges some educational tour, biological audit and seminars.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible for rich kids but not reasonable for poor students everything is going on money we got qualified in entrance exam even though we should pay some ammout for your studies. Whrn annual start fee should be paid on or before on particular date
Fees and Financial Aid
They have the facility to give Swami Vivekanand Merit cum Means Scholarship. There is an educational loan facility but I don't know completely about it. They have another scholarship facilities but I don't know about that.
Campus Life
There are many laboratories in this college. There are Zoology lab, Chemistry lab, Physics lab, Microbiology lab, Electronics lab etc. The cultural authority of this college arrange sports such as 100 meter run, 800 meter run, long jump, high jump etc.
Hostel Facilities
This college have no hostel. But there are many PG s near the college. I live in a PG at walking distance. The average rent of the PGs are few high but the rooms are neat and clean. The PGs are also student friendly.
Alumni/Alumna
The college alumni is very helpful. They always help students. And the seniors are very frank. This college have Postgraduation course of Zoology. As I am a Zoology student so the seniors of our department are very helpful to us.
Admission
I had filled an admission form. On the basis of my HS exam marks the college authority had published a merit list. By following the date and time of themerit list I went to the college office and I was admitted.
Faculty
The college authority is very helpful. The student union is very kind and helpful to individual student. The profeesors are also very helpful. The infrastructure of the laboratory of every individual subject is good.
