Remarks

My university always gives me positive vibes.all colleges have some positive and negative points, but in my university I saw most of the positive points. There fee structure, that environment, library was damn good which I miss the most, friendly nature of teachers, successful events on the stage, there is facility of free bus. Sport facilities, grassy grounds. greenery there.infrastructure of class is too good.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course structure is not so good as much as it should be, focus on research is honestly not at all, all they taught us is theory, we are not able to relate it to the real life (study should be such that the technology, companies are right now using should be taught )all I had learned during my college days is not so useful. What the students had to do in companies had to be learnt in last semester of college that is during training period, this can be made better if that things can be studied during college days And about labs, they are taken very loosely, quite boring

Placement Experience

4

the placement is awesome and similar to other old iits, being a new iit, iith has gained lot of honor because of the work and research it produces. All big companies such as microsoft, oracle, nvidia, salesforce, adobe, mathworks, oyo, xilinx etc visit our campus. There was 100% placement for mtech ta in cse this year and almost every year its same. The avg package is somewhat around 16lpa Mtechs get a stipend of rs 12400 every month by mhrd

Fee Structure And Facilities

Actually the fee is 37000 per semester, but the students who had above 60% in +2 are to be granted with scholarship, i.e they have to pay about 25000 per semester, and for the backward class students whose parents have less then 2lakh income and also had more marks than 60% in +2 are given full scholarship.that is they have to pay no fee

Fees and Financial Aid

We get 12400 per month sponsored by mhrd Mtechs get a stipend of rs 12400 every month by mhrd. Mtech Ras get money depending on their project. Btech student also get if they choose to work as ta under some professor.

Campus Life

5

Extracurricular activities plays major part in out university. Every months there happens atlesst 2 activities that are apart from our curriculum. There happens events like cricket in which teams are made of boys and girls. Inter zonal festival is held at our college, dance, singing competition, football, cricket, vollyball tournaments. Type writing competition, coding competition, College making. events between different departments.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Actually I am not hosteller so I know about it very less, from my point of view the infrastructure of hostler is too too good, there is lift in hostel as there are total 5 floors in the hostel, hostel seats are more then enough, fee for hostel is genuine as compare to other colleges as heared from many hostlers.but the one thing that is food is not good in hostel, most of the students are having problem wid hostel food, apart from this with security purpose it is very good. There proper security guards at every floor.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes There is an alumni association. They keep coming and guide us through our career paths If you are interested in higher studies or in placement. They show their full support and help us guide in whatever path we choose

Admission

I had opted for computer science and engineering over others because the scope of computer science is increasing day by day as the new technology is coming with the coming generations and I want to explore and know about the computer technology more and more. Admission process:- counselling process was followed, they checked out my 10th and 12 th result and based on that they had alloted me the seat for computer science and engineering.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty of our college is well qualified, but there are some who are not. And if saying about interest with which they are teaching us, is not so good. All they have to do is to complete the syllabus before the exams. No doubt there are some who are so concerned about our placements and all.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
