Remarks

The infrastructure is very good with all the basic amenities but more emphasis should be placed on placement and college internships. Companies do come into the college campus but due to lack of participation from the students the reputation gets hampered.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is very much upto date and in line with the course structure of top institutes. Since I am a law student, the course structure of school of law has to be in accordance with that recommended by Bar council of India as it is the regulatory authority with regards to legal education. Equal importance is given both to theoretical and practical aspects.

Placement Experience

4

Yes since I am a law student I am aware of the placement and internship programme of School of Law. It is mandatory for a student to do internship every year. There are many law firms, NGO's and companies with whom our institute has a tie up and the students who are interested in internships are recommended there. Also the college provides us with placement facilities.

College Events

4.5

There are mainly three fests in the whole college year. They all are thought and developed by students only institute just provides money but still they manage to do a pretty great job. Some of the years back many film stars and ideal singers or bands were invited.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is a bit expensive if you are looking at it from the perspective of a student belonging to a middle class family. If someone is paying around 1-1. 5 lac annually then obviously it would be deemed to be expensive. But if compare the fee structure from that of other private universities such as Amity, OP Jindal then it seems to be feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

Sharda University has a very good scholarship scheme for meritorious students. When you are admitted in 1st year the scholarship is provided to students based on their academic record in 12th standard. Similarly in each successive year of study, scholarship is provided on the basis of the cgpa of previous semesters. Also one can avail student loan.

Campus Life

5

There's some or the other thing always happening inside the college as there are several different schools such school of engineering and technology, school of medical sciences, school of law etc. There's freshers party every year then we have north india's largest cultural fest related named Chorus. Different fiestas and many more events such as quizzes, debates, sports meet.

Hostel Facilities

4

In my case college have a very shitty hostel. they are not suitable to be stayed in. There is lack of a very important need of humanity that is water. Facilities are not that great so many students do not choose to stay in it. Rooms are very small and have a common bathrooms

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the seniors who have passed out are very much helpful. They help in getting us Internships and also support us in each possible way whether it be project reports or guiding through any exams process. Also time to time we have an interactive session with the alumni's in which they tell us about the challenges and benefits of the world outside college.

Admission

My friend had been studying in Sharda University. As I wanted to do law he suggested me to take admission in Sharda University as it is one of the best private universities in India. Firstly I had to give the Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT). After clearing the test I had to give a person interview on the basis of which the students are selected. In the Personal Interview you have to be really good as they look at your overall personality.

Faculty

4

The faculty is very much qualified and competent. Some of the faculties are alumnis of highly reputed institutes of India. They are very much helpful and student friends. The faculties emphasise more on the qualitative then quantitative learning. Doubt solving session are taken regularly by each faculty so that they have an idea about each student. Also regular assignment and assessments are taken.

Overall experience of the campus is very good. I really enjoy the studies as well as other extra-curricular activities. I am glad that I took admission here as I experience many things that I wouldn't have been able to experience in any other university. Nice friendly and peaceful atmosphere in the campus makes it the best campus. Although the placements is still a worry for us but lets hope we get the best results.
