Unique qualification.

This college is actually a small department and well managed with live project facilities. These take up a lot of the faculty time and students must be proactive to take cues from the lectures and do a lot of self-study and research.

Entrance test conducted by the department focusing on language, comprehension and logical thinking skills, current affairs-general knowledge; qual. & quant. basics.

Well rounded curriculum, well equipped library, unlimited access to the internet. No electives all relevant subjects compulsory.

Excellent internship opportunities, with companies like Accenture and Wipro etc offering internship and placements. The internship is a mandatory part of the course. Stipend ranges from 10K to 25K. Internship opportunities convert into jobs if the student performs well.

Accenture, Lionbrigde, TCS, Citibank, Wipro, Bosch, Aptech, Mumbai Education Trust, Amrita University, were the top rated organisations. Salaries offered ranged from 20K per month to 30K for freshers. But there were students with prior experience who got picked up for 40k.

Lots of event happening through out the year. Cant name any right now.but I am sure there are interesting events. Every fortnight there is oneor the other talk with free entry to the exhibit.

Very reasonable. It costs only Rs. 20K per year as tuition fees. Additional expenses are not more than 2K per month. It would be advisable to invest in a personal laptop or PC, though the college does provide PC at a ratio of 1:1.

Not that I know off. But the fees are not too high and are very affordable. One can apply for a fee refund through a award instituted for poor students, on meeting minimum criteria in their exam scores and low family income.

Being a part of the large Juhu campus there are a lot of year round activities one can participate in. This is an all girls college but very liberal and concerned about empowering women through education irrespective of their financial status .

Not a hostelite. But this is the standard Juhu SNDT hostel. No facilities for girls form greater Mumbai region which includes Virar- Panvel- Karjat and Kasara, all stations where local trains can reach.

Very good online forum for interacting with the alumni and the faculty including the previous HOD ho is the current VC. Buddy bonding and support is the norm. Once a year alumni meet is held with serious discussions and of course fun-filled get together.

Not too many exams. But several assignments which need research and application. Exciting new projects and group work. NO mug-up and vomit exams. Something new to learn each day.
