Remarks :

Here the main issue is travelling facility as college is situated close to NH 48 nearby to Virar and you won't get much of experienced faculties over here. Overall a good college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum is as per circular of MU and is strictly followed during the course. My learnings were Interpersonal skills which is quite different from regular studies. As per industry perspective, I was awarded two internships from college itself which are most precious gift for me. Our college has tie up with Cocubes which enhances your Competitive skills and make ready for industries. Industrial visits vary each semester and year depending upon the subjects. Some industrial visits were Reliance Thermal Power Plant, Amul Dairy, M&M, Tata motors, Parle etc

Placement Experience :

Placements are there but just for local companies which include Ankam Play Systems, Renam Retail, Jubilant Foodworks, Tata motors etc. Internships are also given in these companies for atleast 20 students from each batch depending upon their academics and attendance.

College Events :

College fest- VITAL which is held one month of January- February for a period of atleast one week. In this different sports, cultural, management activities are held. College conducts a conference every year for different categories students to show their talent and get printed in various journals every year. Even parents and their information is shared by different senior delegats from different branches.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee is one lakh rupees per year for different engineering streams. You can the fee through different means like cheque, DD, cash, UPI etc. No there is no any hidden fee and you will get a fee structure so no need to worry in terms of fee transparency.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No, I didn't opted for any scholarships but one can avails scholarships like various minorities scholarships, EBC etc. In EBC students used to get 50% of the tuition fee.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio is as high as 40/60 in computer streams whereas as low as 10/60 in civil streams. Extracurricular activities are carried out in different forms, students are motivated to participate in it. Labs are abundant with modern equipments. As college is situated in Northern Mumbai you will find more of Maharashtrian people in campus with majority and rest from North East. There is great influence of political parties in our college specially Bahujan Vikash Aghadi. They rule the college and their students.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, especially the senior students. They will nurture your career with their experiences had in Baja and ARSYA along with excellent academics. I have been continuously in contact with my senior fellow and friend who helped me to make important decisions in my life. He was really a boon for me during my course. He was excellent in 3D and 2D drawings along with knowledge of different advanced softwares.

Admission :

Admission is carries out through GATE score in the months of June to September. You can also get admission on the basis of CET Score, if applicable. You can also opt for management quotes I.e. direct entry into the college. Admission nearly takes 2 days to be completed with all the processes as mentioned in the Mumbai University. My choice was Mechanical Engineering due to its locality and presence of various international organizations in the campus like Baja, ARSYA etc. You will never be bored while studying in this college.

Faculty :

Around 60 lectures is carried out in each semester. It may vary depending upon the credit assigned to that particular subject. The professors are from various age groups but particularly in the range of 35 years to 50. They are highly skilled and had taken training as per guidelines given by MU from time to time. They are having Masters degree along with experience of teaching Diploma students for atleast 5 years.

Placement Experience :

To become eligible for placements one must be good at GPA. From 6th sem onwards students can sit for interviews as per their preparations. Current year, one of the final year students got placed into Infosys with a 5.1 CTC. I going to do a job after my degree and have to do GATE preparations side by side to do Masters's.

The placement is continuously increasing and the quality too. The highest package from our college is 12 LPA and this year students are also getting placed in JIO, Accenture, TCS, Amazon, etc. The placement cell helps the students prepare for further placement and tries their best to place every student with a good package.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for placements from the end of semester 6 and the minimum criteria for the eligibility process is 6.7 CGPA for some companies while for some it exceeds 7. Companies like Deuschte bank, JPMC, Deloitte, Quantiphi visits and take their interview processes according to which students are shortlisted. Almost 98% of students applying are placed within campus placements. Almost all the companies offer a role of either Software engineer or a business analyst and sometimes sales. My plan is to sit for campus placement and get placed in one of the prominent companies visiting in TSEC with a decent package of around 7 to 10LPA.
