Remarks

I always wanted to do my MBBS course from a reputed institute in India and my uncle is a doctor himself and he suggested me to pursue my course from this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The best thing here is that they provide quality education to the student as the faculties here are one of the best faculties from all around the world. The teachers are well-experienced and well-qualified doctors. They complete the syllabus on time and they focus on every student as well.

Course Fees: INR 67000 per year

Yes, it offers internship opportunities and the duration is 6 months. Students get a lot to learn at this time period.

Placement Experience

You will get to do an internship for 6 months and you will learn a lot during that time. After that, the placement procedure will take place and almost every student gets placed in top reputed hospitals in India.

Fees and Financial Aid

Likes

It was good professors and friendly teaching staff
Campus life is good, it provide new opportunities and has events and various clubs
Everyone here are good and friendly and is a lovely place to study

Dislikes

Hospital is far from college, which is again not an issue as they send bus service
It can give and provide more opportunities
Hostel facilities can be improved and they can build few more lecture halls

I chose this course because I wanted to help the needy. Also this college provides best education for mbbs to come out with beautiful colours, they provide so many opportunities. There will be three internal assessments and one final university exam

Life as a medical student

Likes

Vydehi has the best museum with accurate specimens. VASA is main attraction of Vydehi offering simulations for basic life support, trauma management, Advanced life support, laparoscopic surgeries, delivery and many more.
Central library of vydehi has great book collection for undergrads , PGs , competitive exams etc. It is well organised and we'll maintained
Security: My favourite of all is the security system of vydehi that make girls feel safe. No strangers are allowed without being checked and hostlers are not allowed to go out without permission

Dislikes

Hostel fee: Hostel fee in vydehi is a little expensive considering the facilities provided.
Students are not allowed to leave the college premises during lecture hours which can be troublesome when they have to leave due to emergency or when classes are not helpful
Uniform: Newly introduced inform in vydehi decreases respect for interns. Patients treat intern medical officers as nurses due to uniform.o

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is based on practical scenarios and very relevant since doctors need to understand real life scenarios inorder to treat patients. Curriculum includes OSCE and certified skills that prepare students to become good doctors. More individual attention and skill development can help students understand topics and mould into good clinicians.

The college has been consistently ranked under top10 medical college for many decades.
The faculties and infrastructure is really top notch.
The hospital is very good in handling all the patients properly and systematically.

Dislikes

The course fee is too high for a middle class student.
The class is filled with rich students so if you have less money you can feel inferior.
The rankings which the college claims sometimes sound gimmicky.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS comprises 19 Subjects which is vast. Knowing so many things make you not only knowledgeable but also you have very important role in society. This course is filled with practical knowledge which are compulsory to get. This gives you skills which only a few people can have. So you already stand in society. The newer changes that has been made by NMC has reduced the time for studies. It was less exhausting before. Exams are properly placed and arranged . They are well divided into theories, practicals, internal examinations, certification for skills, etc. Last year has more papers now.

The whole bunch of colleges lies in grennery .
Hostel os very close to college , and very clean.
Insfracture is very good , very good envirnoment

Dislikes

It is situated in remote area, place in boring
Even in hostle mess is very bad , even though it is clean
In hospital patient load is low , since we are doctor's we need exp with huge no. Patient interaction

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I am in is mbbs, once I get out of college with graduation, there is a job awaiting me. Now the NMC medical brings the next exam for 3 years. All are saying it will be the toughest exam of medical since the pervious one.

I liked teaching of the cloth .It is good and also very strict.The patient input is little less when compared to other colleges
The hostel rooms are good ,spacious ,good environment
The campus is situated next to lake which makes campus more beautiful

Dislikes

Hostel food is worst chicken is also provided but taste is not good
Watchman of Subbaih behave rudely with students
There is no water filter fitted in classroom or corridor

MBBS is actually toughest course in India.It requires dedication determination.One should prepare hard to pass in examination.the exam month will be tougher there will be no sleep no food etc getting pass marks is like getting distinction

I had applied to BMC, MS Ramaiah, KIMS, Bowring , Akash and Subbaiah. I didn't get into BMC, KIMS, MS Ramaiah and Bowring due to my NEET score. I didn't opt for Subbaiah since it was far from Bangalore and I had to stay in hostel if I went there. I didn't go to Akash because it was a new college back in 2020 with no passed out batches. Vydehi accepts NEET and admission is through KEA. If you have attained eligibility in NEET you can avail a seat in management quota too....Read More

A very good college if you want to excel in your studies and career

Admission process is very easy.Admission cell is active in the college at the time of admissions Eligibility of the course is a pass inScience stream in 12th with biology in it. Actually, the admission process was through agents. An interview was done by our principal and eligibility for the course was 50 percent in science stream for your +2exams. we can directly apply for the course but most of the admissions are through agents because most of the students are from other states so everything regarding application forms everything will be provided by the college with the help of agents and they will tell us to visit the college on particular dates for admission purpose for checking our certificates.
