Remarks

Placement is fantastic, management is not that strict, education is ok, enjoyment is fabulous and finally the college is freaking awesome.

Entrance Preview

I took GCET entrance exam after 12th I scored 89 out of 120 and I opt of LD college as it was the best government college in Gujarat.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It was fantastic but a bit difficult because we were in the first batch of Gujarat Technological University previously, it was Gujarat University and syllabus was different.

Internships Opportunities

College internship was awesome but unfortunately there was no stipend. We were taking internship from NGO called Blind's Peoples Association in Ahmedabad.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements were awesome there were around 70-80 companies which came for placement I got placed easily in MNC. TCS, TATA, FORD, L&T etc were the big giants for placement.

College Events

4.5

There were three fests that we celebrated every year- CULFEST, TECHFEST, SPORTSFEST techfest was at national level and Culfest and Sportsfest happened internally.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible and anyone on India can afford it as it is government college 3000 INR academic fee per year and 3000 semester fees anually.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, for the caste other than general we were offered 10k-20k scholarship by goverment every year that means, your education is free if you are not under General category.

Campus Life

30:70 is the ratio of Female:Male tolerance was taken care with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status. So that was not a problem we enjoyed a lot hostel Parties, workshops etc everything happened smoothly.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel facilities were not that good but it was really cheap 700 INR anually mess food was okay i can recommend anyone as it was realy cheaper than outside accommodation.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, alumni network and association was fabulous as college was established on 1948 so there were hundreds of alumni visiting campus every year i had interacted with many of them.

Exam Structure

Exams and labs were very frequent leaving us with a hectic day with lot of assignments but it was manageable and we enjoyed a lot preparing it and doing it.

Faculty

3.5

They were mediocre, not upto the mark but few were good and few were awesome some faculties were not permanent and were came just after completing their degrees so their standards were not that good.

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,
