Overall, college is good though the scene is different department wise, I think it needs to improve on the placements.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is almost the same as that of IITB. It has made me more efficient and knowledgeable. Yes, it is relevant in research and is fair. It is a Continuous evaluation pattern type and thus it ensures students are in constant touch with the course. Overall, it is good.
Placement Experience
Place is average. First apti, then interview. Almost 80pc students get placed. Companies like Bajaj auto, texas instruments, ITC, siemens, crompton greaves etc core companies come for recruitment.
College Events
Technical- mindspark Cultural- impressions Management- pune startup fest Boat club- Regatta A huge crowd is seen during each of these. They nearly require a funding in many lakhs for the event to happen. There are many popular public figures invited as the chief guest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is feasible. College accepts fee through all the transaction modes available and is transparent in fee breakdown. No additional fee for course. The fees is different according to the caste and the category. NRI students pay a lot mare than others due to their status and their direct admission based on just the 12th percentage.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I didn't opt for any scholarship. The college provides many scholarships. Caste certificate and income certificate is required. On tuition fees scholarship is provided.
Campus Life
Campus life- best. Gender ratio- 1:5 Student parties- clubwise Workshop- involve many different fields such as arts, sand art etc. College is supportive to every student regardless of the caste, gender, race, financial background. College has students from all over India.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes. Alumni groups are their on telegram. And even of facebook. They help a lot to the juniors be it for placements, projects, jobs, etc. I got an internship because of our college alumni.
Admission
Through CET. There are 7 CAP rounds after the results are announced. I got my choice in first round itself. I opted for my course as I had deep interest in learning it. After cap round, there is an option to confirm the seat or still look for the better branch or better college. In the last round you get the college according to your preference and marks into consideration.
Faculty
Most faculties are 50+ age have done at least B. tech. I would say that they are average in delivering the knowledge they have. As mostly we study on our own. In my course there are nearly 30 faculties. Most of the lecturers hold a proper industrial qualification while some are just admitted on the basis of their contacts.
