Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very good in our college Ya it is so relevant and also fair There will be industrial visits in each academic year It really gives the opportunity of learning more about practical things Campus is maintained as good as someone can There is about 90 percentage placements in the previous year

Class Size: 7Course Fees: INR 7 per year

Placement Experience

Placements is such a good thing in our college It is main reason I joined the college Coming to procedure for conducting placements First there will be aptitude test then interviews Some of the companies are Intel, drdo, etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is variable A student from kcet pays only 40 thousand rupees But a student from management seat pays about 8 lakh rupees Also it is very transperant as we don't pay directly to college but we pay to the bank So I think it is very transperant.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes I have applied for some of the scholarships that are availed by the state government Vidyasiri scholarship is one of them

Technical festival is Phase shift Where we get a chance to modify ourselves into a innovator and Cultural festival is Utsav We get chance to expose our talents As far as I know there is no management festival celebrated in our college So that's all about

Hostel Facilities

No I am not in the hostel because it is quite costly So I have opted for pg nearby the college Monthly I pay 6 thousand rupees I have heard that college hostel is quite good and I is satisfactory But also there is a complaint about it But there is nothing like that

Alumni association of the college is very strong and have a large network, It helps us when they have interactive transcript to the point where is it a opportunity to learn

I got admission through K-cet I am interested in electronics so I have choosen it Previous years cut-offs made me to choose the college First K-cet application was there Then the exam was there Then results came out Then we choose the college we wanted Then we got admission

Faculty is really balance to say Because Not only we have young and energetic lecturers but also we have experienced ones in the college which makes difference They make a impact that they are really looking forward for a good society, Then they are very dedicated to the courses.

The faculty's are well qualified, and they have a good teaching methods.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Likes

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

There is a discipline in our college and good atmosphere
there is good faculty in our college and nature is good

there is no specific sports for there course
vehicles parking is not good our the college

from 5 th semester there will be campus place ment is there There will many companies are visited , like Amazon, google, There is 60 lakh per annual but i didn't known which companies there will be 80 percent students are getting placement my plan is to make money and help the poor peoples There is beast placement in our college , there will be a internships and good here for Hailey package in this college

Good Infrastructure and Career Opportunities

Likes

Yes the first thing I liked is the campus and the environment there is no harrasment and strict action will be taken.
And second thing is faculty members are so helpful and they always help to students and different festival
And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. The company offers is highest is 40 lack per annum which google provide and minimum is 4lack . Mainly 80 percent of the students are placed every year but due to war happened in the global impact in placement I want to do masters in abroad and then go to the company

Likes

Campus is good and mainly located near Whitefield.
too good supportive professor. Staff are too chill. Some staff are like our bestfriend's.
Lab equipment are good . You are not facing any issue with pc.. it's good

Dislikes

There is only few events in a year. I think only 3 events.
Hostel building is too bad. And hostel food is too bad.
There is no field to play games like cricket, football.

Placement Experience:

After 8 sems we are eligible for placements. TCS ,Dell and many companies visited mvj. Highest package of mvj was 22lakhs per annum. Basically some companies ask CGPA at above 8. My plan is a developer after my engineering in python language or Else I will continue my dad business

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

Good ranking of college among other private colleges of India
Best location of college in the silicon valley of India
Various opportunities of internship to students

Campus area of the college is less than expexted
Conditions of hostels and mess is not good
Teachers and professors are not good in explaining concepts to students

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

Students become eligible for placements 6th semester, a lot of companies visit college including Amazon, Anz , Accenture currently highest package is 46.56 lpa from AWS offered to 3 students placement. Last year placement percentage was 97% average package is 8.97 lpa my plan is to sit for placements

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

I applied for many colleges like RV Dayanand Sagar Ramaiah and my first purity was RV 2nd priority was BMS College of engineering then press Ramaiah and Dayanand Sagar and the I didn't get RV I got the second priority that was BMS College of engineering computer science so I choose this rejection from the college I applied was RV which is first college I am in top most college of Karnataka and second top most college was BMS College of engineering the admission process ID was through CET eligibility is you should have minimum of 60% + in your 12th board PCM and then incet ranking if you have a very good rank like above 5000 like below 5000 you can get placed in top colleges like rvbms and most of colleges if you have less ranking like 10k 20k range colleges I got BMS College of engineering cause between 4K to 5k...Read More
