Remarks
Overall experience of my college was good, but college authority must upgrade the college library because there only few books for us. we don't take it to home for study. Other wise my college was very good, and my experience was very good. all of the stuff very good. I think this was one of the best college in Kolkata.
Course Curriculum Overview
Calcutta university is one of the famous university in India. and they offer 1+1+1 system. and the full course duration was 3year. the students has to qualify each and every year final examination. after 3year, university provide a final mark sheet and a certificate. If any one apply for honors course then they have obtain minimum 40% in these perticular subject for maintain their honors course and qualify for next year. and who apply for pass course those student obtain minimum 30% marks for qualify for next year. every year marks conjugated with next year.
Placement Experience
Placement of my college was not so high. only Infosys and TCS come to our college in our last year. we attend the placement, few of our college student selected in interview.
College Events
Every year in my college we celebrate teachers day. freshers welcome, annual fest. rabindra jayanti. and we students create many events every year like cricket tournament, football tournament in our college campus and debate competition quiz competition etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I applied in a govt. college that's why my annual fees always cheap. I only pay 3500 rupees per year for college fees and 500 rupees for annual exam. now a days fees problem is very big problem but I never face this problem in my college life and my friends also.
Fees and Financial Aid
In our college If any student need any scholarship they must contact to the principal. and principal sir provide a form to fillup and provide supporting documents. after the verification who is eligible, they get their scholarship.
Campus Life
In our college Gernder ratio was approximately 4 male: 1 female. In our college plitical party was very active and strong, the name of the party was TMC chatraparishad. In my friend circle on my college all are belong to middle class family. many were below poverty level and very few are upper class.
Hostel Facilities
My college don't have any hostel but if any student need any hostel then they must contact to the principal and principal sir arrange them the hostel in a very low rate. and those hostel are very near to our college.
Alumni/Alumna
In my college everyone are very serious in their study. I meet some of the senior of my college, they are very helpful. they gave my their notes, books, and give me contact of good private teachers which was very helpful to me.
Admission
After my 12th result. I'm waiting for the admission opening date of my college, after opening ta admission I applied through online mode. they accept my application and after that the college published a merit list, and I selected for the course what I want. I applied for admission was 17. 05. 2012 and they published the merit list on 24. 05. 2012.
Faculty
My college stuff and teachers are very fond of us. they always help their students each and every time. teachers provide extra class, doubt clearing class. all of the teachers giving their best, when they teach us. always help in practical room, provide extra books for knowing the subject clearly.
