Remarks

Over all coolege is good, food is bad, campud nature is excellent, mechanical placements are not all good and some faculties don't have knowledge in the subject they teach.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is similar to iits each and every year has two semesters and each semester has Two periodical exams and one end semester exam also labs would be having end semester exams to and viva. College Will not encourage industrial visit, placement training department will help you in improving your aptitude, verbal and soft skills, Teaching methodology depends up on the number of credits given to the subject.

Placement Experience

3

Most of the companies that mechanical engineering students placed are in service sectors like TCS, CTS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT, core placements are bad and placement percentage for mechanical engineering students is like 50 percent and many students remain unplaced where as CSE students placements are excellent at their best, 99 percent of the students got placed with average CTC OF 5LPA, INTERNSHIPS offered are very rare.

College Events

3.5

Anokha is the technical fest that's celebrated every year all of the students from the country will witness the festival Its combination of technical and cultural fest it's held for 3 day's where all students can show case their talents in techanical and cultural feild. And during the last day of techinical fest Singers from the film industry will perform the show and the fest is wrapped up.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee should be paid every year and it's about 4LPA including college fee and hostel fee, and there's no additional fee yes college provides the transparency in the fee break down, Some initial fee has to be paid for securing your admission in the college during counseling and it varies.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I Haven't availed any loans or scholarship generally scholarship is granted to those students who secure top 100 rank in the Amrita entrance exam.

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio in mechanical engineering I can say most of them are boys but in electronics and computer science branches its about 60:40, student's are from kerala, karnataka, Tamilnadu, andhra Pradesh, yes there are many clubs for singing, dancing, play ground is very good and through out the year techanical workshops will be organized.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes I have opted for hostel untill btech 3rd year occupancy would be 4 members per room and in final year occupancy would be one person per doom and maintainence is good. Hot water and drinking water are available round the clock.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni networ is weak, none of our batch mates are in contact and college will never try to organize alumni meet.

Admission

I wrote Amrita Entrance Exam and students will be given admission based upon the marks secured by the student in the AEE exam, local state candidates will have reservations in the admission and there will be a state quota for other syate candidates.

Faculty

3.5

Every subject would be taken around 30 to 40 hrs in each semester, all of the faculty are phd holder's. Some are really good they will help in publishing research journals, some of them have worked in the industry for a brief amount of period and some faculties are phd holders from foreign universities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
