Remarks

The no of companies hiring from our college is more. But the actual quality placements are not there. I have seen students leaving their jobs after 2-3 months. So this is a major drawback.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course structure is good, the faculty members are well trained to deliver proper knowledge and inculcate necessary skills to the students. There are frequent industrial visits and special training classes to ensure students are able to clear the placement tests and interview. Though the knowledge provided is far from the practical life, but theoretical knowledge is upto the Mark.

Placement Experience

2

Though the number of companies are more but MNCs are less in Number. The biggest drawback is the packages are not upto the mark. Average package is between 2-3 lakhs. Companies hire in bulk at times and some good companies select 1-2 students out of aprox 2000 students. Almost 40% students get placed before completing their last semester. But quality placements are not there. There are special training classes where mock tests and mock interviews are conducted.

College Events

4.5

There are lots and lots of events, this college is famous for extra curricular activities, every festival every day is celebrated with great enthusiasm. The college events are a must watch, there's so much Dance, music modelling (they come up with something new everytime) The intercollege competitions are done with a no of colleges participating.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is affordable 90000 annually and if the student avails college facility then additional 80000 is charged. Apart from this charges for events, exams are also taken and the mode of payments are flexible too by UPI, cards, bank transfer and cash. There is a booking amount of 10, 000 to ensure admission in the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, as far as it is in my knowledge the college don't offer any scholarships and I didn't applied for any loan.

Campus Life

4

The gender ratio of boys in comparison to girls is 60:40 aprox. The college is well known for extra curricular activities. Every third day was celebrated and since there are various departments so it was something or the other going on in the college. Since students were across the globe so every state or I would say every religion was equally treated. We never witnessed any body being bullied because of caste, religion, sexual preferences or anything else. Moreover there was an anti ragging committee which is actively involved with students on regular basis. The best thing about the college was, there is no election parties and hence no chaous, no protests and campaigns.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes I was a hosteller, and I am very satisfied with the rooms that were allowed to us. The rooms were shared by 4 and the food was really good, though at times it wasn't upto the mark but overall the quality was good. Gyms were well equipped but no gym trainner was provided for girls which is again a major drawback. Cab and medical facilities were average. The average rent of pg's around that area was aprox 4000 with food So annually it makes 48000, but the hostel fee were 80000 which is a huge difference and that's why maximum students preferred staying outside the campus.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes there are frequent visits from the alumni who are successfully doing well in their lives. Interaction sessions are there, webinars are there and it's good to have some practical guidance from the people who were a part of our own college and now a part of good corporates.

Admission

I always wanted to have MBA so this college offered 100% placements. I went to the college submitted my application, since my marks were justifying the eligibility criteria so it was easier for me to get admission there. The course is usually started from July last week, one week is for the orientation of students. So the academic session begins from August only.

Faculty

4

We had around 6-7 lectures per day including the training lecture which is mandatory. Max of the lecturers are post graduate and PhD holders. The way of teaching is completely student oriented, use of projectors are mandatory once a week. Apart from this student presentations and lectures are a part of it. They share their experiences, because many of them have already worked in corporates.

Remarks:

I completed my BBA from CU and really liked this university because of it's amazing infrastructure and the kind of high level education and practical skills they were providing. It was already decided that I wanted to pursue an MBA program in the long run. I took CAT and was able to score as per CU criteria and I was an alumni of this college only so I was given preference, although the admission was done on merit basis. I also had to pay INR 1000 as the application fee while applying through the official website of the university.

I did my masters from Punjab Institute of Management and Technology and the level of education I got from the college was impeccable. It made me capable enough to successfully start and run and expand my business. I would definitely recommend my college for the sole reason of its precious academics and the supportive faculty. Though the campus life and extracurricular activities are also refreshing and memorable.

I think that our college is good an average. The fees are a bit expensive but feasible and they refund me the concession money for the semester and the hostel fees. I had fun with my friends and classmates too.

The admission process was very smooth. I contacted the college regarding the admission process and informed them that I graduated with a score of 7.8% and then I applied for the counseling and then my application was shortlisted. I chose an MBA course. I did not take any entrance exams.
