Remarks
One of the Top college in Kolkata, and University of Calcutta also comes under top 10 universities in India. This is enough for choosing my course here. As being one of the oldest university there are a pretty good number of experienced professors from almost all the backgrounds. The syllabus of law in this university is well chosen and appropriate for further Entrance Exams or Higher Studies.
Course Curriculum Overview
Most of the experienced Professors are the guest members. Though the faculties are good enough. The course is indeed too lengthy but the subject distribution among the semesters is good, for the first three years one have to study the subjects of B.A. along with the law papers and from the fouth year there are only law papers to be studied.
Placement Experience
As the College was established on 2015, so there are no placements yet. After the final year students will pass out we will get to know about it. Though the Engineering departments have a records of bringing tops companies in the city for the placement of their students.
College Events
Our College is know for the holding massive fests in the city and indeed the participation is also in huge numbers. Each departments holds their fests and it continues for not less than 4 to 5 days. There are 4 fests in a year from the other departments.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is too good. It has almost 5 other colleges of other department and a school within it, each having their separate sports facilities,wi-fi,huge libraries and labs for the needed departments.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I have opted for Hostel. The room is a small one with 3 people sharing it. There are 5 Hostels in Total. One have to apply for it and depending on the availability of seat it is alloted. The Food is below average in hostel. This can make you cry at times. Though other things can be rated as average about Hostel.
