Remarks
DU is one of prestigious universities in delhi. And the main reason was it was a recognized University. As compared to any of the private college, the fee was quite low for any reason the student will get attracted towards DU.
Course Curriculum Overview
After getting into Vivekananda, I realised that our course is at a prestigious point and it works separate from the college. Initially I heard a lot about the college that it's a mahila college, usually poor section of the society comes here. Crowd there would be full of uneducated girls. That may be true for the college. But psychology hons of Vivekananda is separate and no body could catch that position. Our department had the best faculty. They were the role models, they could even ask the principal to mend the rules.
Internships Opportunities
I served as a intern in a hospital, that was not a paid internship but I got really good exposure. College will give you a letter signed by H.O.D we just have to submit that letter wherever we wish to perform as an intern,
Placement Experience
There is no placement cell in the college. No guaranteed jobs. Facility keeps in touch with you, will guide you for the jobs. College will not offer you jobs. You can file a complain about that but it's of no use as you won't be getting a good job only after graduating. This is the fix reply.
College Events
Honestly speaking, Vivekananda is only good with their faculty. Drama society of our college had a little recognition in DU. Commenting on extracurricular activities would not be right as it keeps changing with different incharges.
Campus Life
Infrastructure of the college was not UpTo the mark when I was present in the college. When I was in my last year the whole college went under renovation. Recently I went to college for meeting one of my professor, I observed quite new things like lifts were there, stairs were rebuilt. I can not comment on infrastructure now.
