Remarks

It is one of the best universities in delhi.its nirf ranking of 2k19 is 34.placement wise it is as good as iit delhi, nsit, iiit delhi. The campus of dtu is very relaxed and lots of plantations are done.overall the campus is lish green. On saturday, sunday we get off days. One of the best things about dtu is u get time do whatever u want.either its competitive coding, some development works etcc

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very flexible. There is no such burden of your course.we generally study a week before the examinations and get good marks.More importantly you get time to do the stuffs in which you are interested. The faculties are okay.some faculties are really very good and some are below average. This is the scenario of each and every college.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 166000 per year

Placement Experience

It is as equivalent as iit delhi. All the companies which visits iit delhi surely come for recruitment in dtu.all the tech giants like google, microsoft, amazon, adobe etc visit the campus.Almost all the students get placed.the average package is 18 lakhs per annum ctc.

College Events

Dtu has more 60 socities which ensures all round development of all the students of dtu.Dtu organizes various cultural festivals like yuvaan, engifest.Engifest is the largest event organized by any university or colleges of north india.

Campus Life

The whole campus of dtu is spread in 164 acres of land. The campus is full of trees and greenery. The whole campus is equipped with wifi facilities. We have a sports complex in which indoor and outdoor games facilities both are available. There is a gymnasium in the sporys complex which is open for 24 hours a day.we have a very big library equipped with variety of books. The whole library is air conditioned and lift facilities are also available. Now coming to labs, with my one year of experience i can say that the faculties took lab activities very seriously. We have all the experiments of our syllabus and the eqipments are brand new

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are decents ones.and the most important thing is that the hostel fees is very less.it's around 20000 per annum and 2300 mess charge per month.the food in the mess is nutritious as well as delicious. We are also served non vegetarian foods as well.

Hostel Fee: INR 47600 per year

GTBIT is a good tier 3 Btech college in Delhi

Likes

College societies are very active, there are events, hackathons, workshops and jamming sessions every week
Faculty is very supportive and guides on career, internships and courses
College location and connectivity is good, it takes 5-8mins by auto/erickshaw to reach the nearest metro station, also buses run

Dislikes

College Infrastructure is quite old, they are rebuilding the washrooms so its better than before
Placement and internship are decent, need more support and guidance
College crowd is mostly uninterested in career and participating in hackathons or career building events

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. Top Recruiters are Infosys, ZS Associated, Swiggy, JustPAY and there were about 250 offers in 2025 Highest package was 63LPA off-campus, 27LPA on campus and Average package is about 6-7LPA, most profiles are software developer About 60-80% of the eligible students got placed last year I would like to work as a software engineer for 2-3 year and then do MBA alongside job and then apply for management roles.

VIPS the Infra king ... the experiences you never want to miss

Likes

first of all i would say the infrastucture of the our collge is too good and even the best when we comapre it to other colleges in our university
second is its labs and advance tech lab for a btech student in vlsi domain we have a vlsi lab which have all the equiped tolls tahtare required for a good placemnt and same for other branches as well also in our campus there is super computer
third is the secuity the security of the campus is very good we got riif id card all gates are only when when the correct id card are shown out there and also thereare ample amoun tof

Dislikes

dislike is to be honest one thing i dislike is most is the ptm that after each mid sem there is ptm of the due to low attedence and even student got detained due to it
second is the campus area is too much smaller comapring other colleges
third is the canteen the food in the canteen is not soo good and there is no much option avaiable out there

Placement Experience:

For placement, I would say it is average in terms of top-tier colleges. Average placement is 6 LPA; the highest last year was 29 LPA in BTech AI/ML. Placement is offered in the 4th year of the courses, and there are on-campus placements available, but under significant criteria based on the recruiting company like cgpa should be more then 7.5 no active backlog and all so these are the cretiera that a company demands and depands of dfiffrent companies i dont have any subsqueent infomation regaridng the name of companies visited and no of offer made but i have the information regarding thear placement percenateg it was aroung 82 percent last year my plans are to prepare for govt exam and get in there after getting degree

My experience studying at NSIT

Likes

Placement was among the best and most the top companies visited
Infrastructure was appreciable with no major shortage of laboratories
Senior-Junior interaction compensated the average faculty

Dislikes

Outdated curriculum negatively impacted the conceptual clarity
Too difficult to secure good grades due to strict marking
Mediocre support provided to student led initiative

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was evidently outdated and irrelevant to modern engineering challenges and could have severely disadvantaged students' learning outcomes. Although, interaction with seniors compensated this.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

Automated air conditioning in all rooms in the college
The labs are very nice and spacious with AC

Dislikes

Faculty is not nice with the students as they does’nt give the internal marks for medical issues
The teachers judge you based upon your attendance
Placement scenario is not known so can’t say about it but still on my personal opinion there won’t be anything more which everybody is expecting

Placement Experience:

As no batch has been passed out from our college, the first batch of BTech placements will be out by 2025 So then we will know about the placement scenarios and on campus and internships, but for a B plan, one should always Acquire for the trending skills in the society, my plans after getting the degree is either I go for the post graduate or I apply to off campus in abroad.
