College is known for freedom and exposure learn lot of things in extra curricular activities like entrepreneurship.

Entrance Preview

I Got admission based on state public examination was given rank based on the cut off and selected engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was really good that I chose mechanical engineering. The way I was taught was interesting and in a very practical manner had good exposure in the mechanical environment and got an opportunity to visit industries.

Internships Opportunities

There are lot of companies coming up every year based on their respective departments and all the companies are top in their industries and they pay very decently for fresher's.

Placement Experience

Job opportunities are too good everyone is getting placed and most people do get multiple offers with good salaries thus people choose their own destiny.

College Events

Every department has their own symposium that is technical event conducted every year and the main event of our college is instincts which happens for 3 days.

Fee is moderate and they offer scholarship to people on their merit basis and also for people who can't afford to pay their fees every year they will be given scholarships.

Food is decent not bad compare than other college messes its highly advisable and better but not more varieties though.

People have their forum to keep in touch with alumnus regarding higher studies guidance and job opportunities which is very helpful. People get benefitted out of this every year.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is based on Anna university structure. It totally depends on their methodology which is acceptable.

Faculty

They are Well educated and experienced. They were very supportive and helpful. Every question will be answered with an easy example. College atmosphere was too good and fully equipped.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

I had applied for many college, and i got a seat in SSN through management quota. This admission process consists of various steps first we need to attend the MCQ test after filling all the form it is mandatory to fill all the details that they ask in prior and after we receive a mail regarding the MCQ test timings and the subjects for this test will be our 12th maths and Science and English along with some attitude to check whether basic are strong. This test is not two difficult like JEE Mains It's Simple concepts of 12 grade which can be cracked easily and once you get qualified you will receive a mail for individual interview. I didn't choose the other colleges in TNLEA because the first applied college was SSNCE only and I got this college in merit. if, I apply other college is Anna university Chennai but lateral entry students have no seats at Anna university. I didn't get any rejection from other colleges because my first preference in SSN and i got it. I applied TNLEA website for lateral entry and studied diploma and Choice filling then allotment order. If you are trying for management quota you have have clear the exams and face to face interview.
