Entrance Preview
Entrance exam is CET, DCET and COMEDK. I have written DCET and scored ranking of 4498 and selected sapthagiri college of engineering because the institute is very good and coaching is very good and friendly and understanding staffs.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course consists of mechanical subjects like:Mechanical measurements and metrology, mechanics of materials, dom, dme1, dme2, cim, engg maths 1,2,3,4, btd, atd, MP 1,2,3, etcLabs:Camd, mmm, foundry and forging, FM, machine shop, Ec, HMT, cama, design, cim and automation etc.Elective:Theory of elasticity, refrigeration & Ac, Ntm, project management, robotics, Tqm, tribology, power plant engg, nano technology, foundry technology etc
Internships Opportunities
The college offered internship in Hal, TCS, Toyota, etc.There is no stipend given to the students but they have been given the good industrial experience to the students.
Placement Experience
The company came was Indian air force, Indian navy, Indian army, Infosys, wipro, Toyota, triveni turbines etc. There were 100 students in ME branch 68 were placed. Further some more companies are coming.
College Events
There are so many events celebrated in our college. The main is they organize a technical seminars from the experts to the students in order to make students knowledgeable. The cultural event is called SANKALP and organized very grandly and participated for 2days
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is very feasible for middle class people and also educational loans also available from bank. The fee amount is ?16730/-per year. Which consists of both college fee and exam fee also.

The scholarship is given by the government for backward class people every year. Educational loans is also available in the banks for students.
Campus Life
The campus life was very good had great experience in college and there is good labs and there is a amphitheater and basketball court and table tennis table.There will be debates and discussion always.
Hostel Facilities
The college consists of its own hostel for both boys and girls. There is very good hostel facility which have WiFi connection and very good mess facility. There are n number of pg's available very near to college only and average it costs ?2000/- only.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni will always organize events often to interact with the present students.And also they created an alumni Page in Facebook and can join it after leaving the college.
Exam Structure
The exam will be conducted by government university called VTU. Labs will consist of 2 examiners one is internal and external. Theory exam will be for 100 marks and internals for 25 marks.
Faculty
Faculty was very helpful, friendly and understanding.They helped us to understand the concepts very easily.Helped and cleared doubts in regional language.Finally the best faculty.
