N Yashwantha Gowd's Review On Sri Vasavi Engineering College - [SVEC], Tadepalligudem

I had tried for another engineering college named srkr engineering college and didn't get a seat there So the second college that I've opted is Sri Vasavi Engineering College and so I've joined here

Most of the syllabus that we are studying is outdated and industrially it is out of use for ages. There is not even a single industrial visit or any other visit related to our course and thus everyone here in this college is a noob with no industrial exposure, to be frank, no one knows how the industries related to our course works or what kind of technology is used there. All the faculty are the same except a very few who are passionate about their job. The majority of the teachers are lazy to finish their syllabus completely. we have around 6 subjects every semester which comprises of 6 units each. Among these 6 subjects, one or two subjects will get completely taught and the rest of the subjects were stuck at 4th and 5 th units and in the worst case, we'll get stuck in the 3rd unit And now there comes the case where some teachers complete all the units by teaching a very few portions in each unit which is completely out of sense to my bad luck I haven't seen any passionate teacher committed to his or her work taking our class.

There is notva single internship held in our college. Our college doesn't even care about that. What it cares about is making money by making some events and us completely dumb when we speak about internships or any other.

No single campus placement is held here in our college.Our management makes each and every branch learn programming and the programming they teach is for namesake. It has no use when comes to real-life campus placements. It's a waste of your valuable time and spoiling your career if you opt for this college for the placements

A yearly reambursment of 35000 given by the Andhrapradesh state Government can be availed here on the name of jnanaboomi student scholarship which is given to every bachelor degree student and there won't be any kind of loans available in this college

When comes to the infrastructure it's somewhat okay but in the rest of the party the toilets are stinky and some of the basins and toilets are leaking .no one cares for the maintenance of the washrooms (toilets) as there is a special toilet for the faculty which is well maintained and a poor stinky and leaky toilet for the students. And when comes to the roads, even with a little rain the college resembles that of a dirt biking track Full of mud and rainwater in which the students struggle to reach their busses. when comes to sports, as I said earlier the students aren't given a good coach. The PET's does everything except coaching and for those who want a career in sports, our college should not be opted by them. When comes to wifi, nobody knows that wifi exists in our college because only the staff, that to the administration department have the access to it and the labs have that equipment from the stone age which doesn't work properly even if the connections made by the students are good then the faculty comes to play who, somehow manages to get the results by doing some random stuff which isn't the way of doing it. To be clear the faculty are more interested in bringing the numerical values rather than explaining the experiment finally after all this worst stuff the only good thing that they had in the library which is very good and consists of wider ranges of books.There are no complaints here in the library section

The hostel Life here in this college is a nightmare to almost all of the students there are no proper facilities for the students as I said earlier the stinky, under-maintained, leaky toilets and the horrible thing is the pipes in the toilet leaks and that falls in the mess located under the toilets and the food is the most blizzard thing you will ever see where the food is made by unhygienic practices and sometimes consists of the insects which enter the food while cooking. And the oil content in the food is unbearable which is almost all oil and cannot be eaten by humans
