Vanktesh Kumar's Review On Lovely Professional University - [LPU], Jalandhar

I choose this university because of its quality education and skill development plans. A common student like me who don't have any idea about outer world gets a new experience and industrial or professional level knowledge. Like here in college various student cells, skill development cell, and other clubs depending upon the choice of student's skills. I have joined entrepreneurship cell and learned many things. Even we earned alot. Here beyond the knowledge of books a student learns alot about the society and real world. Mainly leadership quality are being sharpen. I think this type of institute a student wants where you don't have much pressure of study and provided with thousands of opportunity depending upon students choice. Although fee is very much high but in India quality education costs much and we all know this.

Syllabus of each course and each subject is divided in 6 units. Out of 6, 3 units are being covered before the mid term exams and 4th is completed between the time after 1st mid term and before 2nd mid term and last two units are covered before 15 days of the final exams. Syllabus according to me is same as that of premium institutes like NIPER, IIT's etc. Faculties are helpful and they have a special cabin and you can contact them anytime for resolution of your problems. So i found faculties well qualified if you will ask about the qualification then out of 10 faculties 8 faculties is having doctorate and have more than 8 years of average experience. I found two faculties very interesting one is DR. SHIV GUPTA and DR. PANKAJ WADHWA. They are very helpful and teach you like you beyond the limits of class. They will help you in every problem either inside university or outside and motivates you as well.

Placements are good here if you count the numbers of student placed than its higher than expected but out of that total selected candidates students who got a good MNC company is less in numbers. If i would have to give any rating out of 10 then I'll give 7 to the placements. But students of this institute have very much good skill that they can crack any interview as well.

For professional there are events like hackathons and other competitions such as gaming music and every other thing. Various celebrities politician and influences regularly visits here for events. Even this is only private institute where our Prime minister Narendra modi had visited once. Our Vice president and president visited here. Coke studio even is being organized every year. Normal quiz, poster making and other competitions are very regular here. DJ night parties fair wells and other this also being organized. Entry to this institute is entry yo new world here.

During admission the loan facilities are being provided and various bank representatives were available there to assist students and various banks are even inside the campus and you can visit there to ask about anything of loan. Scholarship here is purely basis on the students impact and grades. The more you have grades the less you have to pay the tuition fee. There are slots and students with different marks and percentages falls in different category and get different scholarships. I am getting 30k every semester waiver in my tuition fee depending upon my marks in LPUNEST.

Sports facilities are more than excellent and there are scholarships depending upon you level of sports. Those who had played any national state or district level will have everything free of cost here. They will get free hostel and will not have to give any tuition fee. Each student is given with a iD and password using which you can access the institute wi-fi facility which is available in whole 600 acres of the campus although speed is little bit normal but that's enough to access web. There is different library for each department and each course there is different department and there is 8 floor large library which is open to all and have a limit of timing till 12 am night but in exam days its open 24 hours.
