Remarks

The standard of teaching is getting reduced in these years. Only by the students own effort, a student can gain more technical knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My course is purely based on research. The tentative research title should be decided first. Based on that academic course work should be completed. Then the research project should be completed and presented. During the research period more practical knowledge can be gathered. Technical knowledge in the research field can be updated. Based on the students interest industrial exposure is also available.

Placement Experience

4

The alumni chain of the college supports the students for internship in leading industries. And the college provide very good placements every year. However the students must develop their technical skills to get placed in leading industries.

College Events

4.5

Two cultural events an year for all the departments. One sports event an year for all the departments. One cultural and sports event an year for hostellers. And one department event an year for every department. All the events will be conducted for two to three days. Apart from these several workshops, conferences, Auto expo will also be conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The academic fees and the hostel fees are very low. I paid 10,000 rs per semester. Two semesters per year. University prefers online payment. In worst cases if online payment is not possible cash payment is also accepted. No additional charges will be there for admission except deposit amount (Rs 10,000). The college will provide complete transparency in fees regarding queries.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since I worked in a research project I got a stipend. And generally students are provided with different government scholarships and several university scholarship also.

Campus Life

4.5

Equal gender ratio will be there in the college. Also there will be some foreign students (student exchange program). Students throughout India are studying here. A variety of cultural, language diversity can be seen. Yet the students will be together irrespective of all diversities.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, I used the hostel facility (fortunately I stayed in a hostel where Indian former president APJ Abdul Kalam stayed during his college days). The hostel will be of two sharing type. College will provide hostel facility for almost all the students who applied for. Two different mess facilities are available (veg and non veg). I don't know the exact fees at present. One thing is there will be a shortage in water facility during summer.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni are highly helpful for the students. The college follow a chain link of the alumni for years. Alumni help the students in terms of internships, placements and more.

Admission

One of the best institute in the state. Provides specialized courses like Production Technology, Automobile Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering and more. The institute provides much exposure for the students in technical and professional skills. The laboratories and library availability are much useful for the students. Hostel facility is good. Since it is a government college fees is also low.

Faculty

2.5

Accessing the faculty is very easy in our college. Most of the assistant and associate professors allow the students in their office room. Need to get appointment from senior professors to access them. The senior professors are provide very good technical knowledge, which they'll share with the students in a clear way. Students can get the core details of the available technology from the senior professors. Fifty percent of the associate and assistant professors are good. But the remaining people are not fit for teaching. Useless people are there in the teaching profession. They don't even know the basics of the subject what they are teaching. Could experience very bad teaching from them. Students need to give extra efforts to learn more in such subjects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It covers all core Chemistry subjects with good lab work. I chose this course for strong academics and research scope. The syllabus helps for higher studies and competitive exams like NET, SET. Practicals help in real applications. Exams are held each semester. Difficulty is moderate and most students clear easily,More workshops and industry training can be added for improvement.
