Remarks

College is very good for studies as well as extracurricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

it's well known college in Mumbai for engineering with a huge campus and well-built infrastructure. The college will help you build your career as well as social life. It will help in growing in Academy as well the extracurricular activities. Some technical activity is also there like designing and building the car in the college for competition in India as well as international.

Placement Experience

4

Placement is good. Many companies such as Infosys Accenture, L&T, Godrej, voltas, tyssan Krupp etc. The major chunk of the placement is in IT companies. Core sector is relatively less. Placement are on simple criteria such as there should not be any pending kt in some cases they were also allowed, some high package companies would be having their round of pre-qualification exams.

College Events

5

We have many fests held in our college which are well organised by the student's council with lots of entertainment and fun. Many singers, actors, comedians, DJ are called for our events. Many days are celebrated such as tie day, sari day, gang day, Navaratri, traditional day, mismatch day etc. The college will have many things which will keep you in connection with the college and you will be willing to go to college every day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As it is private college fees are high. Approximately 8 to 10 % fees hike was there every year. My last year fees were about 1.4 lakh. Those who are from st bc or obc they have a concession in the fees. A major chunk of the fees was tuition fees. So if you come under tuition fees waiver scheme you would save about 80 to 85% of your fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

There where Tata scholarship, Minority Scholarship, and a couple of more, I had taken Minority scholarship which gave 25k to the students who are belonging to minority casts

Campus Life

5

Gender ratio??, I was in mechanical engineering so it was very bad. But all other departments had almost equal. College campus has cricket, football, 400 meters race track, badminton, tennis, volleyball, basketball court. Many sports competitions were also organised. As the college had mixed crowed, there were no such issues on race, religion, gender or any such issues.

Hostel Facilities

5

No. College campus has 2 hostels. Which are reasonably good. Food is also not that bad as all keep cringing on social media. I live near around 15 to 20 km from college so it wasn't worth to stay in a hostel, I used to travel daily which was around 30 to 40 minutes. And I had the advantage of travelling in the opposite direction of the morning rush so it wasn't rough at all.

Alumni/Alumna

no idea, haven't actually been interacted with any of the alumni. So can't comment much about this. As far as the college alumni reunion and helping in students are very well. All are connected on college provided email ids so simply one can email to everyone.

Admission

Via MhTCet. College also had 50 percernt Gujarati quota. At my time I had got admission via Gujarati quota and on the bases of CET score. There was the seat on bases of AIEEE and IIT jee score as well. The admission process is simple on the bases of the merit.

Faculty

4.5

Well experienced. All faculties are expert in their own fields. Many are holding masters, past grades, PhD in those subjects. Some are from the actual field experience faculties who had job experience in the field which they teach. They are all practical oriented with the focus on giving their best.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Companies started sending their placements form to college groups from starting of the 7th semester. For particular branches, particular companies visited. Many companies send their placement forms this year. But each selected a max of 2-3 candidates only. In the strength of 76, 15 got placed on campus this year. Selection rates or placements criteria were too low.

Focusing on student's attendence rather than focusing on students concepts. College is not focusing in development of students only paperwork is done. No conceptul teaching nor practical. By doing this stuff we can get a btech degree but not the knowledge a btech student should have.
