Remarks

The college management is done by the staff which is well qualified and Assam state duty on time everything is organised and held. There are never scenes of panic is everything is managed in such a way that is easy for in student to understand the system of the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I've Jane studied more then 40 subjects over four years all of different types and each required different approach to carry out hence the curriculam and exam structure helped me a lot in shaping up. All the Internships and training done during my course as they were part of curriculum they helped me achieve professional skills too.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 27000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

Campus placement as well as pool campus College also conducts the placement and also we can go to other colleges in which we have registered for pool campus for the placements.

College Events

4.5

1. Cultural fests and technical fest 2. Technical quiz 3. Cultural events 4. Sports These are managed by faculty as well as students. This also helps to develop soft skills in the students. Technical cultural management festivals are done according to the students command these are held every year and with great zeal and enthusiasm.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is a government funded college for women. So the fee is not too much as compared to other BTech colleges. It's really a luck if you are in such a college an opportunity. There is a bank nearby the college fee deposit fee is there for the girls who do not paying cash they make a demand draft and submit their money.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there are. There are a lot of scholarship provided to the students who are in need there are many programs for the girls who cannot afford their fees also who are good in studies for their exemption of face there are various criteria in which a person can get scholarship and it is directly held by our government it falls under their program so there is a lot for a girl in our college.

Campus Life

3.5

There are only women in our college as women institution and there are a lot of other activities held in our college uplift women in every sort of ways there are taken certain labs and webinar so that one can learn different technologies. Sports competition are held every year such that girls remain in shape also be developed the quality of leadership and team.

Hostel Facilities

The college does not provide a hostel I leave nearby my college it is private hostel and yes it is very good hostel it has everything a best and urban area and have been living there for four years. Suggest that things to make juniors because it is nearby the college and it seems time besides everybody mostly 70% live stare so we can take help offer juniors for seniors to complete our because there are many activities and we have to practice.

Hostel Fee: INR 70 per yearExternal Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors which are studied from all college are doing good and are placed in a good reputed companies. They definitely are our inspiration. Their success story pushes all to do something good in our life also we take their help in certain areas and there push us influence us to reach our maximum capabilities.

Admission

My course is BTech (computer science and technology) I choose this course because it will never go out of fashion besides now during time of covid-19 we are almost running everything online and this course has a future scope. I did my 12th with math's then later I gave JEE exam and scored average marks later in August I checked site of Uttrakhand government college and applied for this college and as per my rank I got the trade CSE.

Faculty

Our faculty is well qualified as they are appointed by the government of India under the plan of TEQ-P 3 hence these are the passed out students of IIT and NITS. They are intelligent as well as guide us in very ways. Teacher are well qualified and experienced

A Well-Rounded B.Tech Journey with Good Infrastructure, Supportive Faculty, and Growing Career Opportunities

Likes

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

I like the college curriculum and study materials and teaching style of the teachers . Some teachers are impressive and their teaching style is too good .
Campus life is not much engaging but we usually spent our time in studying only . Also for attendance there is not much more criteria but some teachers are very strict in taking the attendance.
Faculties are full of experience and knowledge. They are approachable online and offline too but after the class.

Dislikes

I don't like the placement system in my college because the students studying in 2nd year do not get any exposure of placement . There is placement cell in our college but not very active .
Infrastructure is good but it should be spread in a more big acres . My wish was to get into IIT Kharagpur that's why I am asking for big campus .
Overall curriculum and research based approach of the campus is good. They just give projects to the seniors and seniors work is to dictate us about the project and helps us in building different types of project.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspects that motivates me to choose this college is the GFTI'S colleges . Because my father suggest me that govt. Colleges seeks more companies that's why I choose this college . But truth is totally opposite from the reality. Real world application based projects is just given by the teachers in every semester but we students copy it and give it to them from the gpt. College timing should be more less we have to study from 10 am to 5 p.m. Timings of exams are of 3 hrs only in semester . Difficulty level is moderate.

Graduation- Best time of life.

Likes

The campus of the university is beyond beautiful and homely. Participation in college and university societies paves way for an all rounder development of the students. Facilities like CCF internet facility) is quite commendable.
Good Placements offered also encourage better future prospects. The library of the university is next level. Kisan mela held two times a year feels like another celebration for the university people.
Events held in the university with amazing artists offer exposure as well as a unique way to keep the entertainment alive amongst the youth.e

Dislikes

The hostel rules were rigid especially the entry timings of the girls hostel. The rigidity to take leave by getting it signed by various officials first had been an issue. Although, this was when i was graduating, things might have changed by now.
The stringent hostel rules were quite difficult to cope with. The strict checking at the university gates though might seem good as per the security but seem harsh sometimes.
Teaching methods could be made more progressive and technical with time paving way for more practical knowledge. Infrastructure could also be given a push.

Placement Experience:

In final year of btech companies start coming. Maximum students of CSE and IT get placed. Package is min. 3.2Lacs CTC. Both mass recruiters and startups take part in the placement drive. A good number of students get placed. But maximum students of our college opt for higher studies like appearing for GATE, GRE, CAT exams. Further students indulge in preparation for govt services like UPSC, Defence.

Inside WIT Dehradun

I applied to a few other enginnering colleges in my region that offered Btech programs . I recieved confirmed admission offers from a couple of them as well . However, I chose WIT as I felt overall learning atmosphere here aligned better with my goals for teamchnical growth and career development. The admission procedure here is simple the candidate must have completed 10+12 with physics chemistry and maths. The college accepts JEE main , state level entrance exams like UPSEE or other state technical exams and also considers direct admission based on merit depending on seat availability. And with their respective JEE rank they must apply for counselling....Read More
