Course Curriculum Overview
Our college focuses on the basic concepts and create innovative minds. College provides all required industrial knowledge to us. Plus we are working on some national level automobile building project to taste the industrial experience. Every year from mechanical department, students work hard for making Go kart, Baja vehicle and Efficycle. I feel proud to say that I am captain of Efficycle Team. And my focus is to build vehicle which will help to future generations.
Placement Experience
Atlas Copco, Simens, TCS, etc. there are near about 12+ companies which came every year for mechanical department particularly. But as I am not appeared for placement yet hence cant say more about that. But everyone says that WCE have great Placement opportunities in Maharashtra than any other institute.
College Events
There are 7 clubs in institute. Technical clubs are departmentwise. Like mesa for mechanical, cesa for civil like that. So every club have their own event. Plus VISION is mega technical event in western maharashtra. Art circle is a non technical club. it have its own Yuvarang event. I think the no. of events that my college celebrates, hardly any college can.
Fee Structure And Facilities
feasible fee structure. Online payment, plus cash and DD are accepted in college. There is Transparency in fee-breakdown. there are no additional fees are charged. and there is no donation and admission culture in college.
Fees and Financial Aid
College does not offer any scholarship facility. But government have lot of Scholarship schemes. College provides us for that facility. and it helps a lot.
Campus Life
there may be 40 girls after 100 boys. Any college from Maharashtra have special reservation for girls. our college also have it but as merit is also required hence there may be less ratio. But everything is modern and as per latest world.
Hostel Facilities
no. as i am a localite student i don't need hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
our college pass out students work in reputed companies. some of them have their own business. We have alumni meet annually. plus our seniors are really very friendly.
Admission
On basis of CET exam, I gave my choices for colleges in Maharashtra. Then I luckily got the college and course which I was expecting. Actually cant say it luck because it was a struggle to get admission in the college. and as my college is reputed in all over maharashtra so it is a dream college for all. on 27th July 2017 I took admission in WCE. Total 3 CAP rounds were there and I found my name in the 3rd merit list.
Faculty
We have 6 subject per semester. Our teachers are highly qualified. Near about 90% professors are Alumnis of IIT. They always focus on innovation based learning and teaching. My own experience is my whole life is changed due to this institute and Professors. and all the changes are positive.
