Remarks

It's a good college and has achieved good reputation in India. They give good support for student research activities too.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum is good. Since this college comes under deemed to be University, they frame their own curriculum and modify accordingly. It has definitely given me confidence to go ahead in my field. There will be no placement issue as it was a Medical college.

Placement Experience

4

No. There will be no placement drives because it is a medical college. We do get to do one year internship in the hospital attached to the college.

College Events

4

Annual cultural fest, sports meet are enjoyable ones. currently there is a well maintained sports ground and including basketball court. The intercollegiate South India level basketball tournament- nitte. Accolades is the most sought after event every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Program fee was feasible back then but now it has increased sharply. There will be some additional fee to be paid apart from tution fee. Bank payment including online and cash payment can be made. Fee transperancy depends on the type of seat taken- all india seat, management seat etc.

Campus Life

4.5

Back in those days there was no much campus life and we had to travel 15 km to come to city for any entertainment. Recently the campus has seen dramatic changes in infrastructure and it's one of the most beautiful campus in this region. Students from outside Karnataka are more here.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is still budding as this college is just about 20 yr old. Few yrs back the first alumni reunion was conducted successfully.

Admission

Opted for this course because of my passion for Medicine. Getting into this college was due to good rank in entrance exam and great faculties in every department here. Entrance exam followed by rank list and then counseling. Then fee payment and commencement of classes.

Faculty

4.5

They are the best. As there is a huge transition when a student moves from a ore University College to Medical college which is a professional college, faculty makes ablot of difference in making them adjust to the new environment. Also the vast ocean of knowledge was made simple and clear to make our foundation strong.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is based on practical scenarios and very relevant since doctors need to understand real life scenarios inorder to treat patients. Curriculum includes OSCE and certified skills that prepare students to become good doctors. More individual attention and skill development can help students understand topics and mould into good clinicians.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS comprises 19 Subjects which is vast. Knowing so many things make you not only knowledgeable but also you have very important role in society. This course is filled with practical knowledge which are compulsory to get. This gives you skills which only a few people can have. So you already stand in society. The newer changes that has been made by NMC has reduced the time for studies. It was less exhausting before. Exams are properly placed and arranged . They are well divided into theories, practicals, internal examinations, certification for skills, etc. Last year has more papers now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Doctor is a noble profession , the mere respect which we get by being doctor is one of the prime motive for me to pursuade this course Aside from physiology , anatomy and biochemistry we have a e t c o m which is a type of curriculum which is thought to us in which we learn to deal with different situations during our career and they also help us in terms of improving our communication which is very crucial In real life application . Personally for me the curriculum started on September and we had our first internals in January 2nd around March third round me and we had a final exams in August Honestly speaking MBBS is not an easy course , it is really hard, you need to understand the core, and then applied to even in theory and practical exams. concept
