Course Curriculum Overview
So far, I like the course structure. The syllabus is on par with the standard MBBS structure. The subjects are thorough, and they help gain a deeper understanding of the things that are extremely crucial for a medical student to knowThe evaluation is semester-wise, with regular internal assessments that are held throughout the year at different points. There is pressure to excel, but the faculty is usually supportive and the competition is healthy. Attendance is strict, and not maintaining that could lead to us not being allowed to sit in exams.
Placement Experience
Yes, of course. There is a mandatory one-year internship at the end of the MBBS degree. I haven't yet reached to that yet, but i have heard god things about the experiences of some of my seniors, who have done the same in previous yeas at some of the regions's best hospitals.
College Events
Spandan is a popular fest of MUHS that happened in 2017. Students from colleges all over Maharashtra took part in the fest that also had an organ donation drive. In addition, traditional events such as Ganesh chaturthi take place evry years in campuses.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very` much feasible. The cost per year is just over 58,000 rupees, which is pretty much affordable for the average student, like me. Considering the infrastructure and the faculty and everything else, I would say it is a fair fee.
Campus Life
Extra-curricular activities and sports are held with enthusiasm. Many students participate in these activities. Although I haven't been involved with any, some of my friends are, and I have seen them. The gender ratio is mostly balanced, with the percentage of male and female students in the colleges close to 50-50. Workshops are held from time to time by visiting Professionals on different topics that give us a unique viewpoint to consider.
Hostel Facilities
I haven't opted for hostel accommodations since I live within commuting distance of the campus. Some of my batchmates, of course, have taken up hostel accomodation, but I haven't heard too much about hostel life from any of them.
Admission
I gave the common national entrance exam, NEET, in 2018.I live near Nashik, so I decided to apply to MUHS. I knew some people who had studied here, and I took their advice as well as a lot of research on different websites. It was a logical choice based on my rank, location and quality of the college.
Faculty
The faculty are qualified and are very helpful towards the students. The system is designed to help us pass the exams properly, and the teachers try their best to help us get through the examinations.
