Course Curriculum Overview
The course is set to the standard of MBBS courses through the country. The course is designed to be interesting, and the subjects are very crucial in helping us understand the details of the medical course. The exams help us understand things in detail. It is a little hectic, but manageable.
Placement Experience
There is a mandatory internship at the end of the MBBS degree. The college authorities help the students get good internships that will give us valuable experience. While placement stats are on the lower side, the administration provides placement support for the students during and beyond the degree, as I have come to know from my seniors.
College Events
Ganesh Chaturthi is held every year at the campus, with all the students actively taking part. A fest, named Spandan, has also taken place a few times, although I have yet to experience that. There are smaller events, held by a department or school.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for MBBS is Rs.52,709 per year. In a general sense, it is a very affordable amount. It costs lesser than many private colleges, and considering the education and experience provided, and the reputation of a degree from MUHS, I would say the fee is feasible.
Campus Life
Sports and cultural activities are common amongst the students. Many participate regularly. The laboratories are well-maintained, and contain industry-standard instruments. The gender ratio is healthy, and there is no visible discrimination of any sort.
Admission
Admission to MUHS for the MBBS course is though the centralised NEET examination. MUHS has a good reputation around here, and that encouraged me to apply here. I got selected in the counseling process and took admission.
Faculty
The faculty are qualified in their respective fields. They have significant experience, and they teach us well. They hold our attention and we have a great learning opportunity from them. I liked all of the faculty and their way of teaching.
