Entrance Preview

I got the opportunity to have my career in Gandhi Institute for Technological Advancement, Bhubaneswar, through OJEE. I scored state rank as 8332 and got the Computer Science & Engineering as my branch to pursue for the Bachelor Degree.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The Courses are vast and really lots of things need to cover within few months to have a good grade in the semester examination. But the faculty are very good. They will help you summarize the vast course and will provide the best understanding into the course.

Internships Opportunities

Through my college I got a chance to work on a live government project at National Informatics Center, Bhubaneswar. Also did a vactional Training at Steel Authority of India Limited, Rourkela.

Placement Experience

Placement are good but also depends on the resession. But the placement trainings are provided by rofessional trainers and also mock interviews are conducted.

College Events

College Fest is the best thing that no one can ignore. All games , Robotics, cricket, football, Ramp walk etc. and lots of extracurricular activities are also there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

College fees is good but can't comment on Hostel Fees or Food. As i never got a chance to stay in Hostel.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got Loan approval and also College provided all the required documents for the procedure.

Campus Life

4.5

Gender ratios is equal, workshops are well equipped. Labs are goods. No such sexual orientation, nor gender bias, nor race or ethnicity.

Alumni/Alumna

All are helpful both seniors and Alumni. Got good career advices from seniors and lots of Notes to get good grades. I will rate it 9/10.

Discriminate between locals and others mainly if you are from Bihar
Many fights between odia and bihari every year

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

DRIEMS UNIVERSITY review after 5 year of frustrating experience legacy will be continued ????....

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Campus Chronicles

I chose this college because it aligned with my academic interests, offered a vibrant campus life, and provided excellent career opportunities. The faculty's expertise in my field of study and the availability of research opportunities were major deciding factors. My college is located in a city with ample internship and job opportunities. Some other colleges were in remote areas with fewer prospects for networking. For some competitive colleges, I fell short on specific criteria such as standardized test scores or extracurricular achievements. In hindsight, I could have prepared earlier or gained more relevant experiences to enhance my application....Read More
