NIT Patna, B.tech in Cs

Reviewed on Dec 13, 2015

Remarks

At last i want to say if you get chance to get admission in this college. You must get admission in this.you should believe me because today i am getting 18 lac per annum salary in Infosys.

Entrance Preview

I had passed AIEEE with obc category.I applied for counselling and I got admission in this. My rank was not so high and i was interested in CS branch. That's why i choose this college for B.tech.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Cousre curriculum of my college is regulated by NIT. It is better than any private college of india. Ofcourse iit is best but Nit is better than any government or private college. Our course was well developed for good future. That helps me a lot in develping my skills.

Internships Opportunities

As our college is reputed college .Almost all well known companies came to our college for internship. I was also selected for internship. Well know copanies like google,Microsoft, Facebook,Yahoo came there.

Placement Experience

4.5

Form my batch approx 75% placed in different companies. One student get highest package of 56 lac. I also got a job of 12lac per annum. Average package of my batch was about 8lac per annum. I think this figures are good for any student.

College Events

In every semester there are alot of events,Festival, functions organised. At every new year party we enjoy cultural programs. There is also organised robotics discussion, debates, lectures, tutorials form companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feaible as my college is government regulated college. One year fee is nealy 1.25 lac inclueing books. Extra some fees are also added for some events.I think 1.5 lac is enough for one year.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college provide loans and scholarships. They interact with different banks for this purposes.Sbi and many other banks give loans for my college in cheap rates.

Campus Life

As according to me hostel life was best for me. Where i get freedom to dowhat i want. There are two students in one room. We often organise parties on any ones birthday and after results.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facility are average, not so good and so worst,You can live there happily. Separate hostel for girls and boys .Food quality of mess is good. But repeated dishes every time.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are not worst. You cannot say them best but you can say them good. They helped in completing my projest works and many other things. In starting they irritated me but after few months they started helping me.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is as usual as NIT colleges. One half year Four unit test,Viva, practical, physical examinatons.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty of our college was great. They help in every problems .Their teaching style was really awesome .They give us more and more knowledge they have .They also helped us to make my future bright.

The campus area is extended in approx 50 acares. The campus provide greenery environment which is better for health of student.

Dislikes

The campus is situated far from the Motihari city which result in lack of conectivity with market.
The college campus has much forest area due to it, you can see wild animal like Nil Gay and Snake in campus .
The college is situated 2 km away from the national highway, due to which you face difficulty in traveling in evening after 6 pm .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I has chossen B. tech in Civi Engineering due to I want to do feild work. Civil Engineering branch is one of the oldest branch and base of all branch. The curiculam prepares me for real-world application or further academic pursuits by dealing hard numericals problem , Civil Engineering branch involves strong team work because any mistake in civil engineering team work result loss of life, money and time. The course is improved by providing strong computer application to civil engineering students and involving AI to this branch. In engineering you can face exam any time so you always ready for any examination and apply the daily study routine to life.

I think some of the things which is going wrong like they shifted to new campus which is under construction and we are living in dustfull campus and noise from that, in exam time their work in my hostel as felt like some is belling in my head overall frustration. Admission process of my college is very simple as the most of the documents required as usual and simple verification process like income certificate validation through rtps website of Bihar government as it is issued or not like that.
