Course Curriculum Overview

My curriculum was for three years covered in six semesters. The subjects covered in six semesters were design and analysis of algorithms, computer graphics, java programming and algorithms, operating systems, cloud computing. Our exams had both theoretical and practical papers.

Placement Experience

Our college have good placement history, our college provide job opportunities in reputed companies like TCS, Larsen, Hindustan. Internship is mandatory for each of us to practice our theory based learning through implementation of work.

College Events

Our college have annual event where students from different colleges are invited to participate and create new ideas and teams. Our activities included Rangoli making, mehendi, face painting,nail painting and also various arts form like dance, music, dramas. Our college organized dandiya rass in the evening of Navratri.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee i had to pay for my curriculum was around Rs.2,59,000, yearly i had to pay a amount of Rs.76,232. Our college offeres many courses with very minimal charges allowing weaker section students to pursue their higher education from this very college.

Campus Life

Our college organized annual sports meet "Aventura" where inter college tournaments took place in basket ball, volleyball, football, cricket. Our college obtained the membership of IEDSSA in sports and students achieving extraordinary performance are awarded with prizes and trophies.

Admission

My admission was confirmed after the registration process .I received an email regarding my selection in the college for the programme i opted. Students with 10+2 from any recognized board are eligible for this diploma curriculum.

Faculty

Faculties in our college are one of the best and teaches us in the easiest and foremost possible way. They guide us with our lessons and career opportunities we have and hold in our field of growth. They are highly experinced and qualified in their respective subjects .

The campus is decent. There is turf for playing cricket football and all. Hostels rooms are good, well some of them are. Cleaning is done every alternate day by the cleaning staff that’s a good part
The college building is not the best but not the worst. Teaching is like every other college of you pay attention you can study in class else you are on your own. There is a library and 2 reading halls, one for discussion and one for individual read
Best thing about college would be the departments are really chill about the attendance. If you are low on it they’ll let you compensate. But do try to attend whenever you can😁

Dislikes

Mess is really bad. There are limited options available apart from the hostel food and those options aren’t really good either
Department’s labs need improvement there is shortage of microscopes and the ones that are already there doesn’t work especially in the microbiology department

Very plenty of campus there is around 50 acre campus
In my college there are around 25 clubs for exploring various things
The faculties are very kind and supportive in nature

Dislikes

The network on the hostel is poor as they provide wifi but mobile network is weak

Placement Experience:

There is 100% placement in our college and specially the core branches have very nice placement statistics like mechanical , electrical , entc as well as it . Highest package is 24 lakh of electrical student

Good college for engineering aspirants

About the curriculum and environment given to students for study.
Various opportunities for various events based on respective domain and departments.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that much qualified except few people.few of them very much qualified
The language barrier,its in Maharashtra and student prefer marathi first,but over time this issue gets resolved

Placement Experience:

From fourt semester students are eligible for placements.Tcl, Wipro, Infosys, KPMG etc . Highest package is 30 and average is 8 lakhs per annum. Approximately 90 percent students get placed. After getting my degree I want work in a reputed company with the good package.

Placements are really good of the college Indira college of engineering and management pune Highest package was 240000. And minimum package is 12-15 lakh per month. Almost every student in this college get placement

The real side

Likes

Fee structure, Non teaching staff behavior
No Minimum attendance, fest and activities
Cafetria was affordable, mess was also affordable

Dislikes

Mess food was horrible, hostel rooms are leaking, washrooms are of low quality, wifi network is too slow
No faculty is learnt enough to teach students, I mean to say that they are not even qualified in their own subjects.
Fine is taken for any mistake you do or not submit your work on time

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is old fashioned, these tools are not used in the current market, they teach us microprocessor 8085 and stuffs like computer ethics which i mean is not that important in todays industry. The curriculum fails to improve us in any aspect.

Likes

college provides extra curricular opportunity as well as provide different clubs technical and non-techincal.
sports activites yoga,kho-kho,basketball.
environment of college is quite friendly ,junior and senior interaction is there

Dislikes

less no of holidays as mostly the holidays are given before exam.
mostly semester ends before 6 months so fast to catch up things
100 percent attendance is compulsory for labs.

so for theory some such we have practical labs where we imlplement what we have learnt in theory so it provide a hands on practice as well as help to keep in mind for longer time .eg subjects like cn,dsa,java etc.

Good course which is designed by the SPPU. The course is followed strictly and the examination and every procedure are done by the university itself. All regulations are must follow by the respective colleges given by University.

Entrance preview

Admission:

No entrance is conducted. I was admitted in this college on the basis of my percentage in the CBSE exam. So I didn't have to prepare for any sort of entrance exam. I scored a decent of 78% and could manage to get admission in the college.
