Remarks

I am living a most exciting journey of my life. I will highly recommend this college to everyone who want to achieve higher position in the field of hotel management studies. Overall the college gives us a wonderful experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college meets the national and international restaurant and hotels mechanism standard. You will find all the latest techniques and fast cooking methods in the course. Along with that course covers all the ancient and modern methods of cooking.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of the college is very active. Every year the college is being associated with many restaurants and hotel industry companies. They give the direct job placement to the deserving candidates and gives internship to many students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college has a decent fees. The student can complete their graduation course in 2.7 lakh. The way they teach and the effort they make to bring out our best the college is very feasible. It is very affordable for all students .

Campus Life

The college conduct some fun activities in the college. But don? celebrate any other events or competition. The college celebrate national events like Independence day Republic Day and Great leader birth anniversaries.

Alumni/Alumna

The college arrange the alumni event time to time. Our old people visit us and share there experience. It always helps us and encourage us to do better practice. The alumni people also serve and support the college whenever needed.

Admission

To obtained the admission in the college the students need to qualify the entrance test conducted by the college. The student must have passed his 12th. The eligible candidates can takes the admission by visiting the college site.

The faculty is completely filled with professional chefs. They are well qualified and dedicated to there profession. The college have very free to air atmosphere. They always support us in our difficulties as a friend.

Likes

My experience at lissah has been mixing of challenges. Psychology depart has supportive teachers and classes is good
Campus is peaceful and it’s so greenery there are opportunities to take part in different academics
I also like that the psychology department has its own lab and practical exposure and Lissah is well known for psychology itself

Dislikes

I feel that there could be more programmes activities and opportunities for students to make college life
Location could feel like quiet and it’s not in town area
Those who prefer more active atmosphere I would not recommend here

I chose bsc psychology because I was interested in understanding human behaviour. The curriculum covers different areas of psychology along with subjects such as major psychology minor statistics and physiology then English mdc . Since I am still in my first year I have only experienced the initial part of course

Faculties are good. Most them are very friendly
Class rooms and canteen are also good. Not the best
Fees are very low comparing to other collages

Dislikes

Not giving good placements. Only 1 or 2 good companies good. Others are average
I'm not interested hostel. But my friends in hostel always saying that the food is not good.
Some faculties are not treat all the students equal. Not every only some

Placement Experience:

Placement are not the best. But EY , federal bank, TCS are some the prominent companies that are coming. The negative thing about placement is most of them are offering marking jobs. So if you are someone who is interested in operations this is not the collage you want to in.

TIST , Great college , fun events and more

Likes

Our seniors passed out with flying colors joining different companies or starting their own. There's a good focus on peer learning and student communities which is pretty nice. Canteen food is decent and labs are great
Most people and professors are friendly and they encourage you to try out new things.

Dislikes

Hostel water , busses are pretty fast. Sometimes roads are a bitt rough

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

I feel like staffs in my department are pretty good, atleast they fullfill their duties to cover the portions in right time
We have placements training, offered free of cost by college itself
Notes and necessary materials for studying are provided from college itself, and most teachers don't force on buying textbooks or other materials

Dislikes

College is located in aarakunnam, which is a bit remote area hence for various needs we often need to travel a few kilometres even for basic necessities
The road to collage entrance is a steep road, and currently it's under construction (it's been a yr)
Students are required to park their vehicles outside the college, as there is no parking facilities for students inside campus

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

My dear college

Likes

I liked the atmosphere the college offers and the facilities for studying
The sports facilities are pretty good considering the supplements they have
The library got my attention since it has alot of books and its the centre of attraction of the college

Dislikes

The college doesn't provide any placements and job opportunities
The college doesn't provide any pool options for swimming lessons
Teachers get changed every now and then this makes the continuity of the lessons very hard

Course Curriculum Overview:

The social service got my eyes on this course. The intention of creating the mentality of helping others by social service made me join the course. This course provides a great service towards the betterment of future and people in it.

After 6 th semester students become eligible for placements . It's in the final years . Many companies have visited the college and made offers for the students like Wipro,Tenzo tech , infopark etc Around 70 Percent students get placement
