Journey towards professional life

Nothing in specific. The good thing was ragging was prohibited in the campus.

I took state level entrance examination and scored 2000 rank. I opted this college because i wanted to do course specialization in Electronics. I believe electronics is evergreen subject, so can start career in any field either software/ hardwarekeeping this in mind, i went for admission process. Among my choice of shortlisted colleges, This college was in 3rd so i took the seat in college and also it was quite near to my place.

Course curriculum was good, compared to previous syllabus, ours was updated according to new arriving topics. This would help us to start career without any additional couses. Faculty was very good. Though initially, for first two sem faculty was not much experienced. later they got experienced faculty from industrial experience also

We were not provided internship facility, Instead college provided all required things at the campus itself, they brought few companies to conduct some short term projects, we were not offered any internship but got certificates from company.

Placements was really superb. Companies started visiting college at 6th sem itself, by the end of the course almost 90% were placed. The only sad thing was that only one offer per student. once placed, student can't try for other companies in campus recruitment.Major companies were TCS(3 lakh p.a), cognizant(3.5 lakh p.a), IBM(5 lakh p.a and 2.8 lakh p.a), Infosys(3 lakh p.a) etc.

Anubhav- annual cultural fest usually conducted for 3 days.includes fun games, quiz, talent hunt show, dance n music programsEvery department used to conduct their respective technical fest annually.our department fest was intercollege fest. We use to conduct technical programs n invite colleges from outside to contest like paper presentation, project presentation, technical quiz, etc.

Fee structure was ok. Mine was merit seat, so tuition/academic fee was affordable(30000). But the extra maintenance fee to college was quite expensive as compared to other colleges(additional 10000) they simply included unnecessary fees for maintenance, But we were offered any facilities.in spite of this they use to collect additional lab fees at every semester.

I didn't avail any scholarship or loan from collegecollege didn't had any such programs. There was no need for me take as i got merit seat.

I enjoyed my campus life, it was well balance b/w academics and extracurricular. I actively participated in all programs be it cultural/technical fest, sports or some social welfare related programs like blood donation, awareness rallies.

I didn't use hostel facility as i use to travel from home to college, As per my friends experience, The hostel facility was good but mess food facility was not good and unhygenic.

Every year in the month of may we have alumni annual meeting at college, we interact with our friends and senior friends, have some entertainment programs. We always stay connected with our alumni group on social media.

My course was semester type. Every sem we had internal and external exams and lab exams.college use to conduct 3 internal exams and 1 internal lab exams. Schedule was properly scheduled as we use to get sufficient time to prepare and relax in between exam
