Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus consisted of several case studies and other famous research work of reputated schlors. Whole course was 5 years course and were divided into 10 semesters. We had practical sessions for better understanding of the topics

Placement Experience

4.5

For completing the degrees we had several options. 30%-40% of us chose to go for litigation, some persued higher studies, few even went for competition preperation and remaining joined law firms. Our college invited different law firms including Sagar Chandra and associates, Herbert Smith (UK), University College of London etc for campus recruitment drive. College had excellent percentage of students who got Placement

College Events

4.5

For any college, library is very important. But for my college Library was his soul. We had several books, cases, newspaper for taking reference. Library E Resource was the most liked facility of Amity with 146 computers.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The highest amount of money was charged in first year amounting 81,400. But after that fee charged from us was low. For second and third year I paid a same amount of fee. During 4th and 5th year college fee was the least.

Campus Life

Amiphoria was our college fest held in the month on may. It was just like a concert in which Different celebrities came. We had various events every month. Guest lectures was the most important source of knowledge for us.

Admission

Students who had 80% marks in 12th got direct admission in the college. As I didn't have this much of percent. I gone through the actual admission procedure which had entrance exam, Interview and group discussion.

Faculty

4

The faculty members were having a very positive nature for every individual student. They guided and supported each and every student of the class. Topics were divided in between the teachers separately. The gave me many teachings of life

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

The curriculum is fine. Here they prefer to rely on standard textbooks for better knowledge. And the postings here gives you very good practice and practical knowledge. Here we get to see a lot of complex and rarer cases in the ward.

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
