Course Curriculum Overview

The course has 4 semesters in 2 years, the course is equally divided in each semester. The course is built in such a way that you learn all new things which are very beneficial for the future. We have submitted a few writeups on different topics, and assignments are also given to us.

Placement Experience

Future aspects are very important after your course, as I always wanted to go into writing I got an opportunity from the same company I was interning with as they came for campus placements. We have a few companies coming for different departments for placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very reasonable fee structure we have while we compare with other colleges in my place. Every student who wants the Master's at a reasonable price with high-quality education should go for my college. Your overall development is great with good future opportunities.

Campus Life

Various events celebrated like sports day cultural events Skill fest event you can participate or you can enjoy the events. Everyone can be aprt of tge eents. We also have seminars where people come and guide us for the future. Every year we have a college fest, which is a lot of fun.

Admission

I had done my bachelor's in English and always wanted to go into writing ahead. After my graduation, I interned with a company for some time and then planned to enhance my knowledge and went for masters. The college wanted to bachelor's degree and its gardens.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is very friendly and understanding, they try to understand each child according to their perspective. Fortunate enough to get such amazing professors who made us a confident individual. The professors are very sweet, they make you ready for the outside world

Experiences so far

Likes

My experience at lissah has been mixing of challenges. Psychology depart has supportive teachers and classes is good
Campus is peaceful and it’s so greenery there are opportunities to take part in different academics
I also like that the psychology department has its own lab and practical exposure and Lissah is well known for psychology itself

Dislikes

I feel that there could be more programmes activities and opportunities for students to make college life
Location could feel like quiet and it’s not in town area
Those who prefer more active atmosphere I would not recommend here

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose bsc psychology because I was interested in understanding human behaviour. The curriculum covers different areas of psychology along with subjects such as major psychology minor statistics and physiology then English mdc . Since I am still in my first year I have only experienced the initial part of course

The campus is well maintained and is clean
Teachers are willing to give individual attention if needed
Above average food is provided in canteen

Dislikes

Lack of campus life as college is strict
Majority of the staff members are the type to hold a grudge against you
Spoon feeding students and not allowing them to think and improvise accordingly

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from semester 6 onwards. But campus placement for civil engineering is fairly low. But companies like Aarbee Structures Pvt Ltd has offered jobs for my mates

All the teachers are well qualified and equipped to teach but the quality of teaching differs as per individual.

Dislikes

The say of students in matters concerning them or others is nil. We have very little say as the management takes all decisons.
Teachers have ego and superiority issues between themselves which might affect the children in 4th year, project phases.
Fests, events and functions are not upto any expectations.Schools in trivandrum have better events than our college.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan, infosys, commandtech, bimlabs, gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

I feel like staffs in my department are pretty good, atleast they fullfill their duties to cover the portions in right time
We have placements training, offered free of cost by college itself
Notes and necessary materials for studying are provided from college itself, and most teachers don't force on buying textbooks or other materials

Dislikes

College is located in aarakunnam, which is a bit remote area hence for various needs we often need to travel a few kilometres even for basic necessities
The road to collage entrance is a steep road, and currently it's under construction (it's been a yr)
Students are required to park their vehicles outside the college, as there is no parking facilities for students inside campus

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

The admission procedures was very easy and they may provide specific days for each department for admission procedures. This may avoid the busyness on the admission day. The Wonderful Times.

I opted as first preference while registration is christian college... and i allotted to that college in first itself in merit. The admission process were very boring for me... the interview process were formative. I heard a lot about this college from my friends and relatives. But the fact is beyond my imagination when i start experiencing the college days with teaching and non teaching staffs. They were very talented, supportive, friendly, comfort zones for me and all others. For any small or big problems there will be a solution among them. It makes me really wondered. With charming smiley faces each faculty approach their students. They were helpful for exam perparations also. Their presence itself minimize the stress in us and makes feel comfort and energizes....Read More

My honest review for my lovely college

I choose this college as one of my mum's friend was one of the staff there jn the college and he said he would always help me out when I'm in need and that's also one of the nearest college in my surroundings. I was actually trying to enrolled myself in a better and far away colleges but due to Covid, my mum lost her job and we don't want to be seperated from each other during hard times. The admission process in my college is quite simple, the staff are always there for your assistant, and you don't need to do pretty much anything. One of the good thing about my college was that you can get free schooling if you had achieve more than 90% in your 10th exams....Read More
