Remarks

The overall facilities of this college are quite good, but it should work on its placement and training cell in order to invite various companies for the students who are working hard and paying fees for their careers.

Course Curriculum Overview

The smart learning service of this institute is the best thing which I like about this university. The course curriculum is well upgraded as per the requirements of the students. The syllabus of this university is well structured which provides students the depth knowledge of their respective subjects.

Placement Experience

3.5

In terms of placements and job, I feel the college is average. Very few companies visit in this college to recruit the students. AIS Infotech, converges, Oracle, etc. visit in our campus. The highest package was 6.5 Lacs. While the average one was of 3 Lacs. Our placement and training cell is working hard in order bring more companies in this college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for my course are about Rs. 1,03,000 per year. It is quite nominal for the students. I am happy with the great learning in this amount. The facilities are quite worthy and up to the mark. The fees are feasible and affordable. The one who can? afford the fees can opt for an education loan as well.

Campus Life

Every year tech fest, sports events, cultural fests, youth fest, and various activities organized in this college. Which helped me to become a better version of myself and made me a social person which was necessary. These extracurricular activities helped me to remove the stage and public fear.

Admission

I am tech enthusiast personnel who always wanted to do coding, develop apps, websites, work on higher-level technologies. To make my dream come true, I appeared for the JEE mains examination. After scoring a great percentile, I started searching for the colleges and reached to this university. The key aspect which gravitated me towards it was the Smart teaching program for the student. For taking admission to this college I had to again gave a common entrance test conducted by the university. After scoring well in this test, I secured my seat in this college.

Faculty

4

This college is filled with an enthusiastic faculty member who always inspires me to work hard like them. They are well qualified with great experience in their respective fields. Most of the faculties are very strict but somewhere they want the welfare of the student. Faculties share their experience and make the lectures very interactive and interesting. I am very happy with the faculties of this college.

Rest everything is good with college, only i have issue with placement, since there are very poor or only core sales job in punjab, college is able to provide that only. You have to work your ass off if you want to get good placement, provided their education quality is good

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i have opted the course B.Pharmacy! I rate the course as optimal, neither too bad nor too good, its medium! Now comes on teaching method, some teachers are really well and good and few are those who does not teaches but only writing writing, thats it, they will not explain at all! And one thing they should change is that All Courses except B.Pharmacy in Chandigarh University have the criteria to pass the student even below the 40% only or the half of the highest number scored by the topper in the class, and for Bpharmacy its minimum requirement to pass the exam is 50%, Oh My God! This needs to be changed, Now every year, in Bpharmacy, the overall 80% students are getting Compartments (Back/Fail) in the subjects, but the University is not understanding it all. So this should be changed as earlier!

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
