Course Curriculum Overview

Based on project-based teaching methodology, the course curriculum takes into account latest industrial trends & requirements and trains students to become entrepreneurs, experts & designers, carry out R&D and provide Industrial Consultancy in IECT.

Placement Experience

Bosch Company Pvt Ltd, Videocon Pvt Ltd and many different companies came to our college last year. Other industries also came such as Shree Industries, AMD Jain Electricals etc. Our seniors were also placed in some MNCs. Some of our seniors started their own business.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is 42k which is feasible. As this is a government college there is also a lot of option available for scholarships. I didn't need any. The fees of hostel and mess as well as GST on all them is calculated different.

Campus Life

NIELIT has always been supportive of sports and fitness as it helps in maintaining a healthy mind and body. Students must be allowed to choose the sport of their liking and capability, and must be given an equal chance to excel in it. Keeping this in mind, ample facilities have been provided to the students for practicing and attaining professionalism in their respective games.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Fee per Semester (5 months) is 11600. Each hostel has provision for safe drinking water with hot and cold water dispensers, 24 Hr uninterrupted power supply with generator backup, housekeeping services, reading room with national and vernacular newspapers, indoor games facility,LCD television with satellite connection etc.

Admission

Highly skilled post graduate engineers ready to meet the requirements of designing appropriate electronic products for industrial applications. Of the total seats 22 seats are filled through CCMT. The industry sponsored seats the candidates should have been serving in Academic Institution/Industry / R&D organization engaged in electronic product or system development

Faculty

The faculty are very helpful, qualified and are more knowledgeable as per the academic requirement, and their teaching quality is excellent. The teachers teach us with projectors, i.e., digital classrooms. Teachers teach in-depth topics of the subject, and sometimes they explain in regional language, if necessary

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

in terms of engagement its pretty good. you have a diverse set of peers group to learn from.
we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

Dislikes

missing on college campus because of space .

Placement Experience:

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Exam pattern is quite easy to pass as there is relative grading.
There are multiple events and clubs to participate
From SY only class is about 2-4 hrs everyday and Saturday-Sunday holidays

Dislikes

Metallurgy department Class room's are very small and old
Hostel food sucks tbh, only on sundays we get an option to eat non veg.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for pre-placement and after 7-8 semester most of them get place.About 228 companies visited in our college and 530 students were placed.The highest offer made was 87 lacs and averages placement was 12lacs.For metallurgy it was 20lacs and average was 8.5 lacs.About 76.26% students were placed this year. I will look for good package if i don't get then i will start preparing for gate/gre exam for my master.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

Remarks:

College management is highly supportive of student needs. The management listens to student issues and tries to solve it with proper thinking and strategy. The college and the composition, though is extremely dynamic and diverse, students live together peacefully in harmony, supporting and helping each other whenever needed. Though being it's initial stages of setup, the college faces certain issues with placements and internships, but slowly with every batchs learnings, these are also being cured. This ensures that students are always on their toes and ready to take on challenges.
