Chemistry department in Midnapore college is good.after b.sc many students from this college get chance to admission in iit , nit, and iisc after clearing iit jam exam.practical class room is also very big and every instruments are available for practical.teachers behave very frankly with students.number of faculty is also enough.in iit jam exam approximately 3 students ranked under 50.

This unique course of Agriculture, Rural and Tribal Development cover the area of Agriculture along with the development of the rural and tribal people, moreover a real-world practical based course under the field of extension. This course will help students to develop themselves as a good young professional in the field of Agriculture or Development sector. After this course, students get placed in different sectors which is one of the main reasons behind choosing this course but the course not only revolves around seeking a job, it also helps students to develop their entrepreneurship skills. The faculty is full of highly qualified professors who are always mentoring us for our utmost excellence. The student ratio shows equity but it depends from class to class. Term Exams are being held every 6 months and the paper is moderately tough but under the guidance of our blessed professors, it will seem to be easy.
Placement Experience
The placement cell works hard so that every student gets placed in a good company. Every year almost 90% of the students get placed but you need to complete your course to get placed in the college premises. Various companies like TCS, Microsoft, L&T etc visit the college and recruit the best ones. The average package is around 10 Lakhs which is very decent. The highest packed till now offered has been of 35 Lakhs. Since I am pursuing honours, I want to continue my studies before getting into jobs.

College not highly encourages entrepreneurship as it should. College encourages sports so huge chances are sportspeople also get placed but I don't know about it too much.

Always positive. Very good college. Any type of student can carry our with this college. They will get all facilities in the college. There will be no problem for them. Faculties as well as seniors are very helpful
