Course Curriculum Overview

The computer science and information technology courses have 8 semesters in total. Students are given regular assignments and labs are conducted to give students a practical knowledge of the subject. The lab work and assignments along with the final exams are considered for grading a student.

Placement Experience

The batch of 2015-2019 witnessed a good placement drive with approximately 82% of students getting placed in some major company out of the 22 companies that offered a job to the students. MNCs like Adobe System, IBM, Q3 Technology, Posist Technology etc. offered coveted job profiles. The latest average annual package is around Rs. 8.19 Lakhs and the highest package offered was Rs. 40.63 Lakhs per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure can be quite burdensome for some of the students as the tuition fee for one academic year accounts for approximately Rs.80000 including registration fees, medical facilities, etc. and Rs.12000 per month for a hostel.

Campus Life

The college recently held an International day of Yoga to promote a healthy lifestyle which was a great success. Independence day is also celebrated with great enthusiasm on the campus with everyone actively taking part in the preparations.

Admission

I appeared for the JEE Main examination last year after completing my 12th and got an admission in IIIT Sonepat in the general category. The closing rank for the Computer Science stream was 17148 while for the Information Technology stream was 20446.

Faculty

The teachers are highly qualified and they maintain a healthy relationship with students. Owing to which the students feel no reservation in asking for any help from the teachers. They also have a lot of experience in teaching which shows in their lectures.

A journey worth experiencing

Likes

Faculty- The faculty of Amity School of Communication is very very good and supportive. They provide support and guidance not just related to academics only, but even otherwise.
Course Curriculum- MJMC is a course that offers exposure to multiple areas, and the university curriculum ensures that students are gaining both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure
Infrastructure- The infrastructure of the university is good, and the mass communication studio is well equipped and accessible to students

Dislikes

Timings- The university timings are from 9:30-4:45, which is quite a long day
Location- The university's location is slightly problematic as the surrounding area is not that safe
Crowd- Being a private university, the crowd at Amity is sometimes toxic

Placement Experience:

The corporate resource center (CRC) at Amity provides great assistance for internships and placements, however, it depends on an individuals skill set and abilities what sort of job/role/company they are placed in. The average package offered to a pass out of MJMC is 4.5 LPA.

The College Life

Likes

The infrastructure and facilities here is really good and
Faculty here is really supportive and approachable and most of the faculties are phd scholars who comes with great experience
Clubs here are really amazing, you can join any club according to your interest .

Dislikes

The thing which I don't like is the roads of this college which creates problem for coming and going .

Placement Experience:

This is as per the things which I have heard from other people as currently I'm in 3 semester. Around 5th semester the placements gets started . Name of the companies who comes for placement are Delloite , GIVA etc . And I have to go for higher education after degree

Amity college life

Likes

The infrastructure is very good and surroundings are well maintained
Faculty members are approachable and supportive
There are many types club in college which make students keep involved

Dislikes

The college is very much in side of village which makes transport a headache
Roads near college are broken there is always traffic

Placement Experience:

There is good amount of placements taking place in college, students are being offered jobs in 5th and 6th semester, but average package is less as compared to the other colleges. My plan is to go for higher education after this .

BBA Experience at Amity Haryana

Likes

The state of the art infrastructure, green campus and air conditioned smart class rooms form an ideal place for academic learning and development
The course curriculum of BBA Banking and Finance is industry-oriented and includes all the practical financial concepts, software and cases study
The campus life is lively with lots of event celebration, sports fests such as Sangathan various student bodies

Dislikes

MInimum attendace criteria of 75 percent is very strict and allow very little scope to take up events outside of the college campus
Bus charges for reaching college are very high and the problem of getting public transport is sometimes hard
The institute's campus is situated in an area far away from Gurugram city center making it difficult for students to don't reside in the campus

Placement Experience:

Campus placements become possible for students right from the 5th semester. Some of the top recruiters like Deloitte, EY, Genpact, Amazon, HDFC Bank and many more conduct campus recruitment. The average salary package offered by the company for BBA program is in the range of ₹3.5-4.5 LPA and the maximum salary package is of ₹10-12 LPA. Approximately 70-80% of interested students get placement whereas others along with myself prefer to do further studies in the form of MBA program.

Evening timing of college are not good .

Good campus and facilities proper cleaning and sanitation
Good student support and coordination nice energy
Proper 60:40 ratio of girls and boys in the classrooms and in the college as well

Dislikes

Near a village so no proper roads and connectivity to the city
Not good parking space outside college and any support from the ends of locals

Course Curriculum Overview:

The cource crurriculum pretty nice and is in compatibility with the general government course instructions everything we learn and we get taught his according to the guidelines provided by the government and the PCI. The course is comprehensive and elaborate the lab services are good enough.

My academics curriculum is good

Likes

Infrastructure is good. Classes are neat and cleans.
Military camps are best and well experienced as they provide the experience of military life.
Good canteens, best foods opportunities.

Dislikes

Academic Fees are little high but they affordable.
Class timings are little disliked like 4:45 till evening.
They do not allow day scholars fir playing holy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is weel structured and provide good understanding of Indian politics and public administration international relations. It helps me to develop analytical thinks and awareness of political and social issues.

Likes

Excellent infrastructure and full ac building
Foreign language workshops and clean mess
Digital classroom availability and supportive faculty

Dislikes

Fees is a little bit higher according to the course
Class timings are too unorganised and there is gap between classes
Lack of exploration in university, just greenery all around

Placement Experience:

Placements start in the 6th semester. Companies like TCS visit, securing an 80% placement rate. The average package is 5 LPA, with a 12 LPA peak. Post-graduation, I plan to work as a software engineer.

Good Campus

Likes

Supportive and knowledgeable teachers who guide students well.
Well-equipped studios, labs, library, and modern campus facilities.
Active fests, events, clubs, sports, and extracurricular activities.

Dislikes

The overall course and hostel fees are relatively very expensive.
More internships, site visits, and practical industry interaction would be helpful.
Architecture involves long studio hours and frequent submissions. And too much pressure from the teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the curriculum around 4/5, as it covers design, theory, technical subjects, building construction, software, practical work, site visits, and presentations, giving students a good overall understanding of architecture.

During the CSAB Counselling i also filled many NITs and some IIITs but at last i got IIIT Sonepat. You can get the admission through JOSAA/CSAB after giving JEE Mains. honest review about iiit sonepat

if you want to take admission in the college you have to appear for the jee main entrance exam which is conducted by the NTA ,after passing the exam you have to appear for jossa counselling which will be conducted online ,once you get the seat you need to fill the form circulated by the institute ,and you have to appear in the institute for document verification once documents are verified your admission will be confirmed,NTA conduct the jee main entrance twice in a year in the month of january and april...Read More

Review of IIIT Sonepat

To take admission in this college the candidate needs to qualify jee mains and register themselves in JOSAA counselling to get a seat.For foreing students DASA is the counseling facility. There are reservations for category but not for female canditate. In a year there are four mid sems each of one hour paper two papers a day which lasts for 3 days. In order to join the college you need to clear JEE and be on the top 1-2 percentile to get admission here. All the admission process here takes place in Josaa website with no application fees Being a govt college this college also have reservation for general student cutoff is around 15-25k crl.
