Course Curriculum Overview
> I opted for BBA (Banking & Finance) because of the relevant NEP-compliant courses related to corporate finance, banking practices, and fintech. This course provides excellent conceptual knowledge for pursuing higher education, although a few more courses focusing on practical usage of software such as Excel and Bloomberg could help enhance career readiness skills. The course curriculum is highly theoretical and slide-oriented, rather than practical. Exams take place twice a year with mid-semester exams in between.
Internships Opportunities
After 2nd/4th sem completion we have internship opportunities. There are many top companies like Bajaj Capital, Axis Bank, Deloitte,HDFC Bank, etc.. providing internship. As Financial Analyst Intern, Business Development Intern, Operation Trainee, etc. The Stipend range is ₹5000 to ₹15000 (monthly). There are certain internships which does not pay anything. Its purely learning oriented. The task of Intern will be like market research, portfolio analysis, lead generation, financial modelling. And the output expected is project report, corporate presentation.
Placement Experience
Campus placements become possible for students right from the 5th semester. Some of the top recruiters like Deloitte, EY, Genpact, Amazon, HDFC Bank and many more conduct campus recruitment. The average salary package offered by the company for BBA program is in the range of ₹3.5-4.5 LPA and the maximum salary package is of ₹10-12 LPA. Approximately 70-80% of interested students get placement whereas others along with myself prefer to do further studies in the form of MBA program.

Minimum eligiblity criteria for the course include securing at least 55% marks in 10+2 and the tenure of the course is four years. Campus Life
I have thoroughly enjoyed my entire campus life at Amity University Haryana because of the fun filled events that occur almost once every two weeks and allow me to escape from academic pressures. There is a series of annual fests such as Amifest and Sangathan which are hosted by the university, along with various student clubs such as Satrang and Allegories. The classrooms in the university are air conditioned and equipped with modern technology and there is a multistoried central library with a collection of books and journals available on the internet.
Admission
I had applied to NMIMS . However, even though I was admitted, I preferred Amity University Haryana as it was near my house and there would be no expenses on the hostels, whereas other universities were too costly for an undergraduate degree. There was no rejection letter from any other college. There was a requirement of 55% in 10+2 to apply.
Faculty
The teacher to student ratio is one to twenty, and the faculty members are quite well versed, friendly and helpful when it comes to queries regarding academics. The course content for BBA Banking & Finance is practical, is up to date as per NEP guidelines, and covers real-life financial principles. Exams are conducted on a 30:70 internal to end term ratio on a scale of ten points CGPA, and they are difficult enough that 5-10 percent of the students face backlog due to non-attendance of 75 percent.
Night Life
The nightlife on campus is very restricted since the students are not permitted to move out of campus after dark due to the rigorous security protocols. Students relax in the central cafeteria, which is Amity Food Court or at indoor recreation spots after classes. The facilities, such as the library, sports complex, and common spaces are closed from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
