Course Curriculum Overview

The duration of regular B. Tech. Course is 4 years. As I admitted after completing Diploma I got admission in direct Second year. So my course duration was 3 years. The college fulfilled with Central Library, huge auditorium, large playground and all the essential laboratories required for engineering. There was a semester pattern. And a final theory and practical examination conducted by the college at end of each semester.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities were fabulous. As college tied up with different industries and educational institutions so placement of the college was damn good. Different industries such as ashok Leyland, bosch and many more visited for the campus drive and grabbed talented students.

College Events

All the events were celebrated enthusiastically in the college premises. All the festivals and independence republic Day was the first preference of the college. Along with this, annual functions, technical activities and traditional & western day were organized by the college. Students and faculty both participated in each event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure was similar to the other engineering institutions, hence definitely it was quite high. As college provide Technical education and all the facilities, awesome faculty so college fees was about 85000 Rs. Per year. But scholarships were available on category basis. And for talented students concession in fees was given by the college.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities such as industrial training, different workshops were regularly scheduled by the college. Along with this, training and placement sessions, mock interviews, guests lectures and inspirational seminars were organized by the college frequently.

Admission

I completed my diploma in mechanical engineering in Indo Global Group of Colleges too. Hence I decided to improve my knowledge and skills in the same Institute so I took admission here for bachelor of technology (B.Tech.). It is one of the valuable course offered by the Institute. The admission process is purely on merit based. As I got 88% in my diploma so I got admission here easily for direct second year.

Faculty

The faculty of the college was just excellent. They were highly educated and talented. I shocked by their depth of knowledge in each subject. They knew all the basic concepts of engineering as well as advancements in it. We learnt all these things from them and improve our technical and overall knowledge in the engineering period.

My Experince at Chandigarh University: Campus Life, Learning and Growth

Likes

The campus is beautiful, spacious, and offers good infrastructure with modern facilities.
The university provides good exposure to technical courses, eventrs , clubs, and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good labs, a library, and facilities that support students academic development.

Dislikes

The fees are high and losing a scholarship due to cgpa requirements can create a significant financial burden.
More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

I like infrasture and the campus facilites most.
Events and fests are also good and orgainsed regularly.
Students get more opportunities here in university.

Dislikes

Hostel food is not good but eatable and enough.
Dresscode is on wednesday that is must to wear.
Massive campus you may face difficulty in roaming.

The curriculum covrs important computer sciemce subject such as programming,DSA, java DBMS,OS and software development.These subjects influenced decisions to choose this course because they provide a stromg foumdation for software engineering . examinations include MST ,EST and assessments .

University life

Likes

The infrastructure and faculty is very good. The university campus is very big containing different departments with the well qualified teachers. The teaching methods are very good and we can approach easily to the management for our queries.
The discipline is very well in the university campus. The proper follow up of rules and regulations is there in the campus. The rules regarding ragging are very strict and nobody will be forgive if caught in such offences.
The placement rate of the university is quite well in each and every department whether it is biosciences or engineering or any other department. The university ensures that each and every deserving student should get placement.

Dislikes

The first thing I dislike about university is the students are not allowed to use lifts because for some departments the classes takes place on top floors and it is very difficult for students to climb those floors multiple times.
The other thing I dislike is the problem of traffic outside the main campus gate in morning mad evening time. It take lot of time to get out of that traffic and it ultimately makes students late for their classes.
The last thing I dislike is there is no free transportation services for students inside campus because the size of university is very big and to go from one point to other the students have to walk a lot.

This course offers theoretical as well as practical knowledge It prepare me very well for outside life and obstacles that I will face in outside world I think individual students must be asked for learning There is no such difficulty level

Likes

I like infrastructure and staff of my chandigarh university ,very cooperative staff
Very cooperative laboratory staff and well organised laboratories
Very good natured professors ,teach in easy language

Dislikes

I don't like when life watchman allowed only staff and don't allow us
Inl don't like when liftman allows teachers only not us
I don't like my classroom because,my classroom is on the 4th floor

The infrastructure is really good plus environment is good.
Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable and thought and help in reaserch projects.
Social life is good we can interact with juniors and seniors.

Dislikes

The inside transportation facilities is not good.
Too much restriction on moving in and out of campus.
Much formal interaction with teachers and HOD od department

The best university

Likes

I like the food provided in the hostels and many outlets to eat food
I love the class teachers and also my classmates who help me doing my lowest
The University has a good infrastructure

Dislikes

I would say nothing as a display because everything is perfect
Due to the university being so big I face transport tissue
I also sometime face difficulty in studying

In terms of placement my University has provided multiple placements to many students each and every student that have past form my University have a job and more than 75% have got a placement from Chandigarh University

The things I liked is that difficulties is very helpful, and there are various opportunities that we get
The other thing I liked is that there is no ragging in the university. All the children are respectful towards towards each other.

I like the food in the campus from the canteens
I like the discipline that is maintained in the college
All the students from our department are very regular

Dislikes

The admission process...it takes too much energy
They will make you go here and there for fees
Very hectic classes and no reliability for us

Chandigarh University provides good placement opportunities. Students can apply for jobs in their final year. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Deloitte offer jobs to students. The salary package depends on skills and performance. The university also helps students prepare for interviews. After completing my degree, I want to get a good job, learn new skills, gain experience, and build a successful career.

College And Hostel Life

Likes

They gave home like environment to the other state students in the hostel
Mess food is Awesome and delicious 😋 and Hostel rooms are neat and clean with attached Washroom
Many functions and festivals are celebrated in the college as well as in Hostel campus

College Environment is very strict and strict discipline is followed

In 8 semester you are eligible for college placement... Each and every student can get placement through college in their parents hospital such as Amandeep Medicity and Amandeep Main Branch , Amritsar.. They provide package for fresher of annum 3.5 lakh/ year.
