Remarks

If you are going to opt-in anything related to merchant navy or a shipman course, this colleges indeed a very good option for you. This college focuses on all round development of the student and enhancing their skills.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is highly e research-based and focuses on datas and facts. We have theory classes, practical classes, Labs as well as case studies in the course duration of 3 years. The exams are application based and the students have to necessarily pass them to move onto the next year.

Placement Experience

Placements in our college are quite good. The placement cell authorities and a professor help us in each and every step of recruitment. Many companies come for placement in the college and the best students are always selected. Summer Internship programs are also provided by the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for the college is quite high. The total 3 years fees is 8,56,500 which accounts to to each year fees being 2,85,500 rupees. But the total fees is worthy and value for money because of the quality education provided by the institution.

Fees and Financial Aid

As far as I know, no such loans or any kind of scholarship are provided by the college. If any student wants to get any loan, they must contact any bank or any institution that provides funding for education.

Campus Life

A lot of extra curricular activities such as sports events, cultural events, art, dance, music, etc are held by the college. the students can participate in any of the event according to their skill or their interest.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility of the college is quite good. The hostel infrastructure is very creative and is in the shape of a ship. The mess provides good food and wide variety of variations in their menu. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian kind of food is served there

Admission

The selection process of the college is quite easy. One needs to have given its 12th board exam and must have attained more than 45% to get into the interview round. Once you submit the form and get shortlisted, the institution arranges is an interview session so as for the students to get selected.

Faculty

The professor and faculty members in our college are highly qualified and skilled. They help us throughout the college journey whenever we need them. they clear our doubts and support us a lot. All of a professor are alumni of well recognised institutions

The internship for MA PART 2 continuous for 9 months
The faculty here is well qualified for the job role and has immense knowledge
Locality,its just walkable distance from the railway station

Dislikes

The timings may effect the people who travel from far away eg virar or thane

Course Curriculum Overview:

For first year you are supposed to take up internship from your own and for second year the college with place you somewhere so this is usually done to make you ready for real world. You also have internal tests along with assignments and with internship so sometimes it gets exhausting I feel this area should be improved.

Likes

The seminars conducted by the college are very insightful
Facilities are all very helpful and supporting. They make me feel like maybe it's not that bad being away from home
The amphitheater of our college is a very cozy addition. It's a place that brings all of us together

Dislikes

College being at the very end of the campus, it requires us to walk a huge span everyday. It's especially tiresome for people who do a daily commute.
No canteen or any stationary shops nearby to come in help during needful times
No leaves on government holidays and compulsory attendance on days most of us can't make it

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements during their 9th semester i.e 4th year of our 5year degree. Hafeez contractor, sanjay puri architects, CP kukreja architects, etc are the companies visited 75% of students are placed every year is what I've heard from my seniors tho I'm still not sure since being in ny first year I've not reached there yet My plan after getting the degree is to join a firm and after getting ample experience i plan to establish my own firmm. Hopefully i achieve that. I do have faith????

ICEM for MCA is good or bad

Likes

The faculty and teaching member are knowledgeable and supportive . But they lag in explaining concepts . I think the every college has the same situation.The teaching is focused on books concepts rather than practical.The teachers lags in practicals.
The campus has a very very good infrastructure including high storage and RAM computers in the labs on which most of the software necessary for the programming works . Along with that the wifi is only avaiable for the Hostel students .Library is good
The college environment is friendly. I remember one event where Arsh Goel came for the students to motivate and give his insights on tech. Along with there is a sport ground for cricket, football, basket ball, gyms is available with provided items..

Dislikes

As well on the other side fake companies and smaller companies came like one fake company came name Data Tech Labs. Also opportunities depends on the TPO . In our time TPO was not good .For last batches TPO was good. And we had good placments ....
Real-world projects exposure will improve learning experience. I think students should be free to do internships after 1st semester . and in the 3rd semester the focused should be more on final placments..
Canteen is good but the prices are pretty high for the simple food . For a simple vegeterian thalli we have to pay 90 rs in which we are not able to have the sabji again and again . It is one time filling. And other items have little high prices....

Placement Experience:

Placments are really good like 4 students got 12 LPA at crowdstrike after successful internships. I think in our class 20 students got placed from college side and i think it can be improved , the college should give more freedom to students for their preparation rather than focusing on attendence Good companies like Delta Capita, Crowdstrike, Vanderland, Winspire Solutions came to the campus. The placment usually starts from 3rd semeser .

Honest review if you wanna opt for this college

Likes

The girls to boy ratios is good, we get to see all girls equal contributing in the college
The faculty is good, they are very helpful and give good guidance
The boys and girls common room is good to get together with friends to chill and study

Dislikes

Faculty being good they are sassy and might ignore for a time to teach you that not everything will be entertained
The principal is kinda rude and his speech is too long
Well other activities like sports isn't support properly

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement Companies visited are tcs and few others i don't remember their names The average package is 5 lpa and the highest is 13 lpa Mostly 80-90% of students gets placement as they do a placement training for us amd prepares us for the placement exams and interviews and all My personal plan is to go abroad for higher studies but i am going to sit for placement if i get good package then i might not go to abroad for higher studies

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

Easy Money

Likes

Rhythm. It’s a cultural fest that this college hosts and it is the only time of the year where there’s a vast majority of events you could participate in.
TECHITHON. It’s a Tech fest that this college hosts and it has tech events which encourages students to grow and learn more as this aligns with our course.
Friends. The last and only good thing about this college I’d say are the friends I’ve made across the years.

Dislikes

Infrastructure. I’m not really a fan of the infrastructure that is being provided by this college.
Campus. The campus has many such areas that cannot be accessed by students and god knows for what reason.
Stupid Rules. One stupid rule i can think of is that students are not allowed to use their cell phones in the campus nor can the students use their headphones without being on their phones despite it being an Engineering college this makes no sense.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course currently is in high demand and this is the course which offers the highest percentage of placements. Computer Engineering is the fundamental course one could pursue if they want to get into technology. We currently have 2 Internal Exams in each semester which prepares us well for the semester.

I liked how they support any type of sports or passion that the student likes.
All the laboratories have the required equipment ready for the practicals to be performed.
The canteen of the college has varities of food and snacks for students or staff members.

Dislikes

Sometimes Lectures are not being conducted properly in the classroom.
The classroom and labs are dirty. The walls have smudges and footprints from shoes.
Most of the computers in the laboratory do not function and are very poor in terms of specs.

Placement Experience:

As I have heard people mostly get placements from this college itself. If not they go for their degrees and take placement there. The salary is mostly around 5 lakhs per annum which is decent enough for most students. According to the principal from the college if a student studies afterwards for degrees this number racks up to 18 lakhs.

Hello, The infrastructure of the college is top class.
Their are multiple events in the college every month.
The faculty of the college are also well experienced as well as very friendly.

Dislikes

There are no AC in all the class only some of the class have AC

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage in my college is nearly 70-80%. The minimum package offered is 2.5 LPA and the highest is nearly 33 LPA . The average package is 4-5 LPA. Many companies vists are college as our college is NAAC accredited which has a grade of A+.

Teachers are very nice, hostel and food is awesome. Hostel is compulsory for everyone. There is a exam taken by IMU(INDIAN MARITIME UNIVERSITY), You have score a good rank to get this college. It's one of the oldest college and know for its discipline, and also there is a nearby port where we keep visiting. The fees includes everything right from hostel fees, uniform and food.
