Remarks

One of the best university for biotech aspirants is SAU. It provides the best exposure and education by the teachers who have gained the best quality knowledge from the best institutes and sharing their bests with the students of SAU.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of SAU is very unique and permeable. The exposure of the course is very much as the students from other countries are also there. As the subject biotech is itself very extreme and vast and has regular labs it may leave you with a hectic day.

Placement Experience

The university does not provide any placements but one can go for out campus placements if aspire. Also, the teachers help the students out to find the best firm or place or the work and experience. Neither internships are provided by the university.

College Events

All the festivals, events, and other cultural events are very well celebrated in the campus. If you are living far from home you can never find it missing, almost every student takes part in the fests nights. Besides, the events related to academics are also being celebrated there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The duration of the course is about 2 years and the total fees are about 1.3L, which is I think acceptable as they provide the best education, exposure, and excellent environment. The detailed fee structure can be downloaded from the official website of the university.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities are very much supported there. Labs are also taken regularly. Seminars related to different courses are also being conducted. The campus environment is very studious and also there is no discrimination regarding any caste, color, sex, and religion.

Admission

South Asian University is an international university established in 2010 by the governments of eight SAARC countries. The admission procedure continues through the entrance exam which is being conducted by the university itself. The details of the examination can be seen from the official site of the university.

Faculty

Faculties are very helpful and highly qualified also have a very good command of their respective subjects. They are very regular in giving lectures and taking labs. The study material they provide is very effective and can be saved for the long term.

Students are eligible for placements from the first year and there are companies that comes highest package is around 20+ Lpa and the minimum average is 11 lakhs for all the students after the degree.

Outdated curriculum negatively impacted the conceptual clarity
Too difficult to secure good grades due to strict marking
Mediocre support provided to student led initiative

Course curriculum was evidently outdated and irrelevant to modern engineering challenges and could have severely disadvantaged students' learning outcomes. Although, interaction with seniors compensated this.

There is bit of mismanagement experienced,
There is last minute information available at the end moment
Disclarity in information throughout the whole semester

Placement Experience:

It is okay and it is based on luck of the student more than hardwork. You also have to network super well to get into good dream companies. It is a good place to get it out of luck through ATS sysytem.

Teaching style is good , the way they interact is overall good

Likes

The teaching faculty is really nice and polite. They usually help students even when u contact them after college hours.
The engagements and the quality of the social interactions in this college is also very good and very uplifting.
The quality of the infrastructure is very good compared to other colleges in du, considering its very new.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the thought of learning about the literature of the older times was pretty exciting to me while I was choosing the course. The curriculum however does prepares you if you want to continue ur academic journey in the English field.

The course load is too much and it sometimes becomes too hectic
The hectic schedule doesn't allow some students to follow their hobbies
The course is too much theory based and doesn't allow self learning of the students

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is excellent. With the average package being 1500000. Many companies like, BCG, McKinsey, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, and Credit Suisse come for placement. Almost all the students get placed. I plan to go for higher studies after the degree

Wonderful life experience that can't be forgotten.

Remarks:

Good Remark: The college environment made it possible for me to have great friends and be the person who I have become. The teachers and facilities of well-equipped labs, guest lectures, events, library, etc. made it possible for us to have a great campus life. Bad Remark: The college management needs to update the library norms that they have (which made it difficult for us to have books for the weekend to study) and also need to provide students with better placement opportunities from the same field as the specializations.

South Asian University- an emerging giant in the race

The entrance examination for admission is moderate. The cutoff is 50-60% ranging according to the marks obtained. There is no reservation benefits and is purely merit based.
