I took EAMCET to get admitted in my college. My rank was bad but was lucky to get admission into this college as my batch was the second batch of the college. But now its not that easy to get admission into the college you need to have a good rank.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is designed by the university we are affiliated to JNTUH. The syllabus is reviewed and updated every 3 years and is quite upto date . The electives are also provided keeping mind the latest trens like EMBEDDED SYSTEMS, DIGITAL IMAGE PROSESSING etc.
Internships Opportunities
No internships were provided as ours was only the 2nd batch but cant comment about the future probabilities. However if a student gets a internship on his own merit the college gives the required permission and inputs to the student.
Placement Experience
Placement record are mediocre as not many big names visit the campus for placement and average salary package provided is 3.0l. The companies visiting the campus are Osmosys,inrythm solutions,Mphasis, rapidbiz apps, eider, serco.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is decided by the government of the state depending of the grade given to college. The fees keeps changing every year after the inspection. When i joined it was 35,000/- but now it is around 60,000-70,000/-.
Fees and Financial Aid
No scholarship/ loan facility is provided by the college as per my knowledge .But state government provides a scheme under which students whose financial background is not good and the household income is less than 1,00,000/-.
Campus Life
According me there is not much of a campus life. The gender ratio is good we have one/no workshop per semester .We have cultural clubs but come into existence only during the sports week held once a semester. We have two technical clubs ISTE and SAE but no activities in those as well.
Alumni/Alumna
As mentioned earlier we are the second batch of the college .So no alumni network but the senior students were good and welcoming. I especially had a lot of fun with my seniors.
Exam Structure
Every semester we have two midterms, two lab internal and apart from that we have weekly tests and a pre final examination before .The final lab external and regular external examination. The gap between the exam is good enough for you to prepare your leisurely.
Faculty
The faculty is good especially the humanities faculty which deals with the first year were really good and welcoming which helped me to adapt to college very quickly. Some of the senior faculty are also a part of top gate coaching institutions. But most of the faculty comprises of ASST. and associate profs. and very few PROFESSORS.
