Course Curriculum Overview

5

The best thing about NIAT is its curriculum. The courses which we get are updated to latets industry requirements. All the latest AI updates are practiced and used. The teaching methods are top notch becaue other than traditional college techniques, modern and advanced techniques are used in NIAT. Laptops uses are done from 1st semester itself. Not just attending class and listening lectures, but proper hands on projects are done and that experience marks very important.

Internships Opportunities

5

NIAT places a strong emphasis on practical learning through projects, practical learning, and internship opportunities. Many students have secured paid internships in their 1st year from stipends raninging from around 15-22k per month. NIAT focuses on project based learning and allows students to work on real world projects.

Placement Experience

4

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year fee is 8 lakhs. If you get good score in NAT that is NIAT's entrance test then you can get scholarship based on your performance. If you score good then you can get 100% scholarship as well. This scholarship program helps a lot, it mmakes quality education more accessible for everyone and rewards students based on their potential and performance.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is overall good but sometimes it can feel too strict. There are very frequent coding competitions and hackathons and buildathons conducted and this makes the students more focused into learning. The classrooms are equipped with all the modern facilities and have good wifi connectivity. The seating areas are very comfortable and the overall environment gives a good learning vibe. There are many tech groups too where students are constantly motivated to create new projects like drones or robots or similar projects.

Admission

I chose NIAT mainly because its solid grip on AI and the coding culture over here. The way it focuses more on coding and all the advaced technologies are remarkable. I have compared NIAT with other colleges as well but this factor I found really interesting. NIAT gives more emphasis on building hands on projects that will be useful later on in our career. For the admision process, we need to sit for an entrance exam of NIAT called NAT.

Faculty

5

The mentors are extremely approachable and friendly. They always support and help students whenever someone is in doubt. They provide support in academics, projects, coding, and also guides in all the other things too. The exams are there according to the college, but NIAT conducts many hackathns and coding competitions very frequently which sometimes can be too much pressure but msotly it is very helpfful.

Night Life

5

Gym is properly equipped and there's professional trainers also who help you if you are new. Cafe has enough space but is always crowded. The food quality of the cafe is descent and has many varities too. The famous hangout spot for us is the cafeteria and the basketball court. Also the hostel area is very safe even for girls. The area is very peaceful less crowded at night but there are security guards who knows their work very well. So its extremely safe in that way.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
