Course Curriculum Overview

The earth at the college is generally excellent. The practicals are additionally effectively reasonable which makes our college life pleasant on all standing. The schedule of the course is separated altogether for the simple comprehension of the understudies. Out of the 250 imprints in every semester, there are 5 papers of 50 denotes each. In each paper, inward and end-semester assessments are held independently for comfort.

Placement Experience

Our instructors have a wide information regarding the matters that they are instructing. The nearness of the instructors at the school causes us to concentrate on our examinations. There are practically no leaves or unlucky deficiencies of educators in the talks. The personnel is consistently prepared to support us.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The expense is exceptionally moderate at our school. You can undoubtedly take care of the expense with no monetary issues. The charge is around 13000 for everywhere throughout the MA program. The charge for the principal year is simply around 8000 rupees which is an entirely moderate choice when contrasted with different schools.

Campus Life

Our college is constantly occupied with a few or other get-togethers. Some standard occasions of our school incorporate Orientation Program for the First Year Students in the Postgraduate Course, International Women's Day, International Mother Language Day, Vanamahotsava ? The Afforestation Ceremony, Independence Day, Republic Day and numerous others.

Admission

I needed to initially apply for the MA course online through the official site of the college. After I applied to the college, my name showed up in the school cut off rundown on the grounds that my imprints in BA was very normal. I at that point visited the school for additional procedure.

Fixed timetable Classes, regular assessment and class test
The professors are very qualified and their teaching style is excellent.
A lot of books are available in the main library as well as in the department library

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus and curriculum of Calcutta University is aligned with other entrance examination (eg.IIT JAM, JEST, TIFR, GATE etc.) Specially for the Physics BSc course. And the syllabus is updated Artificial intelligence bacis, Python Advance level is in syllabus, it's completed in college. Point to be Noted - The time given to prepare for the exam is sometimes ample but sometimes it is very less. So we have to prepare syllabus in time which is little bit frustrating.

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

Likes

The discipline is followed very strictly. Also you have access to library which is good, teachers are helpful and no ragging policy which is strictly followed and has a decent environment.
Thery conduct seminars which encourages students. Many faculty members are knowledgeable experienced in their respective subjects and helpful willing to solve doubts beyond the classroom also.
The college has decent infrastucture including classrooms, labs and library .

Dislikes

While the curriculum is decent ,it lacks sufficeint practical implementation.More hands on projects, real world application and industry exposure would improve learning significantly.
Campus life can sometimes fell limited in terms of active student interaction.Opportunites for clubs, networking and collaborative activities could be improved.
The college comes under St tHomas School so the campus is not great it is compact and has a canteen.

Placement Experience:

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

The Framework is said to be great, with well equipped classroom and simply get to the libraries.
The offices at this college are great. In any case, these changes depending on the quality of the companies going by the college and the victory of the internship changes by the internship.
Understudies appreciate the campus life and flexibility to associate with others understudies. However, there are few impediments such as the division of floors between senior and junior. College life is nice and could be an inviting place for others

Dislikes

The college doesn't have lodging, and understudies must organize their settlement locally.
The college doesn't have a big field to play like any other big college

Placement Experience:

In Syamaprasad College placements and internships are given to the final year students. And the companies that offer placements are Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, etc. The highest package goes up to 20-24 lakhs and the average package goes to 6-8 lakhs. 70-80% of students get their placement in my college. At that time I planned to get the degree and apply to a multinational company with a high salary package with company facilities.
