Remarks

Overall good experience. some irregularity in lectures, less discipline is what I have observed. Students may take advantage of the freedom and miss out on important lessons on how to be regular and professional.

Entrance Preview

CET. I had no other option, that to take this. I went to appear the entrance exam is scored around 85 and was well in Physics, chemistry, and mathematics.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Well designed, aligned to university guidelines Computer Engineering majors have careers anywhere there are computers, which is virtually everywhere. Our graduates can be found doing anything from designing controllers embedded in cars up to building the latest hot game. Farther afield, as the technology sector has found increasing economic power, our graduates go on to professional degrees in business or law to lead and advise technology companies from an informed standpoint.

Internships Opportunities

No internship required for Mumbai university engineering courseEligible students are offered placements at some of the best companies like Essar, Polaris, HCL, LG, Sahara. The salaries offered are from 1.8 lakh to 3.3 lakh per annum with an average of 2.46 lakh p.a. Unfortunately, though, not too many students are eligible.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are moderate, if your score is decentI got placed in one of the top 5 IT firms in the world Eligible students are offered placements at some of the best companies like Essar, Polaris, HCL, LG, Sahara. The salaries offered are from 1.8 lakh to 3.3 lakh per annum with an average of 2.46 lakh p.a. Unfortunately, though, not too many students are eligible.

College Events

4.5

Fusion - this is a techno-cultural fest with a lot of competition ranging from robotics to fashion show. It had a lot of workshops driven by external industry experts along with certification course.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, almost all the engineering tier 2 colleges have the similar fees structure it is at par with other colleges and provide the returns in terms of infrastructure

Fees and Financial Aid

Not at all, no scholarships offered. students had to search it on their own. As a student I faced a lot of delay in terms of getting stamping, approvals from the college.

Campus Life

4

Campus life was very happening. Most of them are studious. They possibly watch one movie a year and would hang out with friends once in a blue moon. However, there some decent Pseudo-Intellectual people too and yes not to forget the totally モMawaliヤ crowd.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel was available for Marin engineering and not for computer engineering students. I personally did not experience the facility but it was average with standard size rooms with AC and security

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors have got good opportunities to interact with each other by the virtue of alumni meets. College takes efforts to maintain the network with the peers

Exam Structure

Exam structure was a balance of theory and practicals. Viva, submissions were equally important Attendance used to be really lenient for the previous years. Owing to the change in the management and principal roping in, the attendance has become pretty strict. Students are asked to attend 75% of the lectures failing which term marks will be reduced, loads of assignments will be burdened on your shoulders, and for worst cases, parents will be called.

Faculty

2.5

Co-operative and helpful. The less said the better. The lecturers are missing half the time and complete their portions in haste later on. Students without personal coaching often find themselves in trouble.

Focusing on student's attendence rather than focusing on students concepts. College is not focusing in development of students only paperwork is done. No conceptul teaching nor practical. By doing this stuff we can get a btech degree but not the knowledge a btech student should have.
